The next day I asked mayak that why did he tell his mama about me... and mayak said he did not..!! The school year book had my picture in the back..!!! I called nanheji and told him everything... he said he is coming as soon as he can... " I will not let nanav have his way with you this time khushiji... I was not there to protect u last time.. but this time I'll not let him torture u". I was relieved to know that I'm not alone... the next day I went to school and was shocked to see the entire raizada clan and gupta clan waiting for me outside my office....!!!! Jiji came and hugged me... followed by amma...buaji...and I was looking for only one person my babuji... and I felt a hand on my shoulder and I turned around and saw him standing in from of me... my babuji standing smiling and he said "bitiya" I hugged him tightly and I don't know when I started crying so hard..!!! Junior got worried and started pulling my pallu..!! I looked at him and and chuckled at my worried looking pup I introduced him to babuji... he loved babuji..!!! I hugged babuji again and he said "I'm proud of u bitiya... u faced all the problems.. and became successful all by urself" I didn't know when I will get to see my brave child again I prayed to devi mayyian every day n night for ur wellbeing"...!! I just said "I'm so happy to see u that I can't talk right now" babuji I missed u so much........ But then I remembered that I'm at school and soon all the students and teachers will start arriving so I gave babuji my house keys and told him to take everyone home.. As I can't talk to them right now.... I'll deal with them after I get back..!!! I called junior and we walked away.... And they all were looking at me and I avoided all the gazes and went to my office... and found aranvji siting there smiling..!!

Looking at him sitting there... I just ignored him and continue to do my work.... He just sat there staring at my face..!! n it was getting uncomfortable... so I had to talk first and ask him to leave.... And he said "not until u promise to go out on a date with me" i said "what's with the sudden change of heart?" he said "the change wasn't sudden... u left me sleeping.. and I haven't slept peacefully after that" he continued "every time i close my eyes all I see is u walking out of my life... please come back to me... I love u dammit" I said "but, I don't love u..!! I have moved on in my life so u need to do the same." Then there was knock on the door... and adi entered.. As usual he hugged and kissed my forehead..!!! And arnavji got mad at him and pushed him away..!!! I said " what the hell is wrong with u arnavji" he said " who is he hugging u and kissing u in front of me" adi looked puzzled and stood in front of me in my defense he said " khushi is my little sister.. Who are u?" arnavji said "I'm her HUSBAND"..!!

Adi just stood there... I think he went into shock.... But he composed himself...!!! And went near arnavji... adi was taller than arnavji..!!!

Adi: I don't care who u r???? U are making khushi uncomfortable... so m asking u politely to leave right now..!!

Arnavji: who r u?? To ask me to leave... u disturbed me when I was talking to my wife..!! n no one disturbs ASR..!

Adi: u will be ASR in Delhi... I don't give a damn about that... when it comes to khushi everything related to her is my business..!! HUSBAND huh! U call urself her husband where were you when she was all alone here... talking about which... why is she all alone???? Why suddenly u appeared after 7 years??? A husband.. Do u even what husband means?? I will askyou one last time to leave this office at ones..!!

I had to intervene.. But I was happy that adi was by my side to fight for me..!!! So I asked them to stop arguing... and ask adi to leave as I will explain everything to him later... and ask arnavji to go to my house where rest of the people were..!!! And let me do my work in peace so arnavji left but adi stayed back and looked at me..!!! He said "so u never mentioned about being married before" I said "I forgot about it myself" "and that marriage doesn't exists anymore anyways.. So no point in talking about it..!! So when did u get back from Germany?? And where is my and junior's souvenirs?? He was mad at me but he smiled at my questions and said he forgot about us..!!! And I made a sad face to which he smiled and said how can he ever forget about me and junior..!! So he gave me a bag... kissed my forehead.. And turned to walk away... but stopped and came back.... "Do u want me and Natasha to stop by if u don't want to face those people in ur home?" I smiled at him and said no my babuji will be there so I'm fine for now..!!! He went away I sat down on my chair and started to think about what and how am I going to face them,,.... And why arnavji called me his wife... we were married for mere 6 months and that too a contract.... Contract over marriage over... so why does he think that he still has a claim over me... I have to clear his misunderstanding..!! So after all the school work and meetings I went home..!!! I had asked adi to take junior with him for the night coz he will be overwhelmed with so many people at my home..!!

I went home rang the doorbell and jijji opened the door and hugged me again ... I didn't hug her back just waited for her to leave me.. So when she was done hugging me I moved passed her and went inside to the kitchen and got myself a glass of water and came to face them...!!!! Everyone had so many questions....??? I really don't understand these people... first when all I wanted was them to love and accept me they did the exact opposite... n now when I don't need them they are forcing their unwanted love on me..!! So I just went there sat next to babuji..!! And the questions begin......

Buaji: aree titaliya.. kahe itne saal hamse door rahe... kahe kabhi milne ki koshish nahi ki??

Amma: eehh khushi... tumhe kabhi apni amma ki yaad nahi aayi??

Naniji: khushi bitya chup kahe ha?? Jawab dijiye?? Aise achanak ham sabko chodke kyun chali gayi??

Jijji: khushi tu hamse baat kyun nahi kar rahi???

Jijjaji: khushiji please kuch toh boleye..!!

I stood up and said... I don't owe anyone any explanation.... I left because all I got from each and every one of u was hurt and pain.... So why should I stay????? I'm not ur daughter amma remember u disowned me on the day of my wedding...!!! Buaji I'm not ur blood remember.. So why so much worries... naniji contract over marriage over.. So m not ur bahu anymore... and jijji... u r part of raizada clan now so I have nothing left for u... I'm not ur sister anymore... remember u left me all alone... and m not ur jethani anymore... so I'm only my babuji's daughter..!!!

Arnavji walked in and he came near me... "khushi why are u being so rude and cold... these are all ur family, they love you... what is wrong with you..?" Arnavji I'm perfectly fine and nothing is wrong with me... m just reminding them my place in their life..!! And talking about that... why did u called me ur wife in front of adi today???? Have u forgotten that we are not married anymore...!!! Remember 6 months are long gone... so wot wife and husband are we talking about....

Arnavji: but khushi.. I still consider u as my wife... the love of my life....

Oh please arnavji... tomorrow something somewhere will go wrong with ur sister or payal..!!! And then again I'll be responsible for that... so I prefer staying the hell away from u and ur family..!!! I have nothing to do with u all..!!

The doorbell rang...!! Nanheji was here... I was so happy...!!! He came in and everyone was surprised to see him there..!!! And he told everyone how he helped me to get away from delhi..!!! arnavji got angry and yelled at nanheji for deceiving him all these years..... nanheji said " nanav after watching the way khushiji was treated I had promised her that ones the 6 months are over I will get her out of that hell of a life..!! And I did as I promised to her as her friend." And I will not let you manipulate khushi again..!!! This time it will be her choice to come to u and not the other way around..!!! Do u understand nanav..!!!

Arnavji was shocked and left the house in anger...!! And i made the sleeping arrangements for everyone and went to my room..!!! I did not sleep the whole night... when I woke up everyone was gone except for babuji and nanheji..!!! I was happy to see babuji decided to stay with me..!!! So it was peace for someday and every day I got a bouquet saying I love u and sorry from arnavji... as he stayed back as well... nanheji had to go back...!!! So it was just me babuji and junior... and arnavji..!!! Who btw was staying in my house..!!! His presence in my house was clouding my mind..!!! I avoided him and stayed away from him.... But things were changing... even junior started liking him...!!! Mayank sometimes would come home with me to meet his mamaji.... Arnavji would purposely touch my hand... or hair... tried to come close to me... no matter how much I avoid him he will find a way and come in front of me...!!! He never left me alone... so finally I had to agree on going on a date with him..!! And after months and months of me trying to push him away.. He won... and we became friends..!! I told him that I will never love him like I loved him once... he said "our new love and life will be nothing like before" I was confused at his statement.... Because I know I can never love him again...!!
