I'm done with my suspension and I met up with Zack at his car. I was getting death glares from girls. I shrugged it off and went up to him. Zack smiled at me and whispered something in my ear.
"When Julie walks by give me a hug."
"But..." I was interrupted by Zack hugging me. Julie's jaw dropped open and she called us out.
"Everybody! Zack Roberts is cheating on me with Maci Bradley." I heard some snickers.
"Actually Julie. You cheated on me with the quarterback of the football team. Maci and I are back together. I missed her." Wait what?
"If you two are together now then kiss." I looked at Zack. He smiled at me and he kissed me. I felt some sparks in this kiss. I smiled a little bit. We stopped and we heard a few awes and some sluts saying ew. He smiled at Julie in a evil way.
"Was that good enough for your standards Julie?"
"Uh! Why does she get the hot guys!" She storms off. People went back to their business. Zack smirked at me.
"That was a good act we pulled huh?" Ouch.
"Uh, yeah it was." That really hurt my feelings. I thought he actually liked me again.
"You okay Maci?"
"Yeah I'm fine."
"Here let me take you home. I can skip detention today."
"Uh.. Okay."
"Something's wrong let's go." He takes my arm and we go to my house. I decided to change into my all black outfit. I walked downstairs and smiled at Zack.
"Cut the act Maci. What's wrong?"
"Nothing. After all it was just an act."
"Seriously Maci? Are you seriously going to argue with me about this?"
"I don't know why not?"
"Maci seriously?"
"What? You're a dick so now you know how it feels to have someone be a bitch back to you. If you never liked me you should have said so. You didn't have to lead me on."
"Maci. Damnit I'm sorry. Can we at least be friends?"
"Maybe. I'll think about it."
"Okay. Well I gotta get home.. Or wherever I feel like going. Probably gonna do something with the guys. Bye."
