Since every human being on Earth has insecurities and self-doubts, I decided to cheer you up!
(This isn't really a poem...it's....words) :D
I know Someone who has it all.
I know Someone who knows it all.
I know Someone who gets them all.
I know Someone who weeps a lot.
I know Someone who fears a lot.
I know Someone who drinks a lot.
The Someone who has it all does drink.
The Someone who knows it all does fear.
The Someone who gets them all does weep.
The truth is: every Someone is a human.
Humans have faults.
Humans have strengths.
Humans are insecure.
Humans are confident.
Humans are human, everyone can see.
But what you see can be different from what I see.
So believe me when I tell you:
You ARE beautiful.
I know what you think.
Not me.
You can't see me.
But I'm not talking about the physical.
The physical may seem important for maybe a tenth of your life. (Unless you're going to Hollywood)
But everyone withers away.
But you don't know me, you say.
You don't know who I am, what I do, what I like and don't like,
You don't know the REAL me.
So I don't.
But you've read so far.
And that means you care.
About what others think of you.
About your appearance.
About your impressions.
I'm here to tell you:
True beauty DOES come from within.
Anyone who smiles a smile that reaches their eyes
Is more beautiful than... NO.
No comparisons are necessary.
People are unique and everyone has natural beauty
That shouldn't be compared to anyone else's.
Your Smile makes you Beautiful.
Your Laugh makes you Mesmerizing.
Your Kindness makes you Delightful.
So Smile, Laugh and be Kind
Because you ARE Beautiful, Mesmerizing, and Delightful!
And the next time Someone compliments You
Whether You think it is true or not true,
Smile and say "Thank you"
Because that Someone saw Something in You.
