☞Y/N's POV☜

I see a boy from the Hufflepuff table looking at me, as if he's trapped in my gaze. However, I feel that way as well.

I crack my frown and smile kindly at him. He returns the smile, right when someone stands between us, blocking each other's view.

I sigh and look at Roxanne. "Are you alright?" she tittles her head to the left. "Why wouldn't I?" I answer with a question.

"Well.. You seem somewhat different today." she says, not able to quite put her finger on it. "I'm sure it's just you. Besides, we only met yesterday." I assure her and she nods.

After a couple of minutes -which seemed like hours-, everyone is here, both students and professors.

Dumbledore waves his hand dismissively and food appears on the table. Roxanne groans; "Finally!" she says, looking at the sky with her arms open dramatically. I giggle at her and she starts stuffing her mouth with whatever her plate contains.

I, on the other side, regardless of how hungry I am, eat like a lady. Just how Aunt Narcissa has taught me. Now that I'm thinking of it, I should probably mail Draco and tell him my news!

"So.." Roxanne says, after swallowing her food. "Hm?" I hum, letting her know that I'm listening. "Is your last name coming from the most known Riddle?" she asks coolly, but I can tell she's hesitant and cautious.

"That's right.." I answer. "But didn't that man got sorted into Slytherin? Was your mum into Gryffindor?" she asks again.

"No, they were both sorted into Slytherin. Just like my aunt and uncle. I just don't know why I got sorted into Gryffindor. And I hope they're not dissapointed.." I look down, when saying the last part.

"I don't think they will. You seem nice and responsible." she smiles at me. I instantly forget why I got worried about it. "Thanks, Roxie." I tell her.

"Roxie, eh? I like it." she smirks, causing me to giggle. Professor McGonagall hits softly her fork against her glass a couple of times, stealing our attention.

Dumbledore rises on his feet and clears his throat. "I would like to have a word about first year students.." he begins, looking at us, the youngest.

"Flying lessons are in program, but students aren't aloud to have their own, before they complete their first year at Hogwarts. Thank you." he completes, sitting down again.

When we finish eating, I notice a boy looking concerned. I walk over to him. "Are you alright?" I ask him. He looks up, uncupping his face from his hands and responds; "Not really..". I furrow my brows. "And why's that?".

"Because we're missing one player for the Gryffindor's Quidditch team." he answers. "That's too bad. Can't you find one member? There are many students in Gryffindor who surely know how to fly a broom." I tell him.

"There are, actually. But none of them are good enough." he sighs and gets up from his seat. "Oh, and I'm Oliver Wood, by the way." he says.

"Y/N Riddle." I kindly smile at him. We shake hands and I walk over my next class; Flying Lessons. Let's just hope Madam Hooch will be ready to react if anything happens while on air..
