You were amazing up there!" Fred chirps. "And the way you handled Goodrich was hilarious! You should've seen her face when you turned your back at her!" George adds and they both laugh.
I blush and hand the Snitch to Charlie. "It's true. You were great up there." Oliver smiles at me. "Easy there cubs! Don't make her get cocky..!" Charlie jokes and places a hand on my left shoulder.
I giggle. "When is the first Quidditch match?" I ask, looking up to the captain. "In two months. Don't worry, we still have some time." he answers with twinkling eyes.
"Time is never enough when it comes to Quidditch. No matter how much you practise, you will keep on training." Oliver says seriously.
. . . .
"You may begin." Snape says in the most bored tone he can muster. I sigh and eye the bottles from next to me.
"Roxie..? Will you please help me? I have no idea what am I supposed to do.." I say, feeling my cheeks heat up. "Sure, Y/N!" she kindly answers.
"Thanks." I tell her and she points to the purple bottle. "Pour this into your cauldron, until the liquid turns green." she says, an I follow her instructions with care.
"Done. Now what?" I ask, handing her the bottle. She pours in her cauldron as well, and looks at my shade of green. "Perfect. Now, take the unicorn spit," she says. "Ew.." I giggle and put some in my potion anyways. The liquid inside my cauldron turns pink.
"Afterwards..." she says, as she flips the pages to her book. "A-ha! You sneaky little ingredient!" she says to herself, and picks up a pink bottle.
I grin at her, as I observe her murmuring to herself. "Silence. You are supposed to make the potion on your own." Snape says, and all the whispers fall silent.
Roxanne nudges me. I look at her and she nods her head towards her finger which taps the book page. She gives me the pink bottle and nods to her cauldron; it had a blue shade.
I smile at her thankfully, and start pouring the bottle's liquid inside my potion until it turns blue. I place gently the bottle back on the desk and rest my gaze on Roxanne again; she is waiting for me.
She picks up another bottle -similar to the purple, only it has green color. "Red." she whispers and starts pouring the liquid from the bottle to her cauldron until it turns red.
I nod twice and she hands me the green bottle. I repeat her actions and she gives me a small, dead, and smelly fish.
She throws hers inside her potion, and I do too. "Time's up." Snape's voice breaks the silence. "We're done, right?" I ask Roxanne. She nods with a smile and her eyes glare at the professor, as he checks on a student's potion.
I turn around, facing George and Fred. "Did you do it?" I ask and they look at me with evil smirks. "Oh, we did something.." Fred says and trails off.
"Uh-oh.." I say and look inside their potion. "Don't touch it if you wanna laugh." George says and smiles at me. "What did you two do?" Roxanne asks, entering the conversation.
"You'll see." they say in sync. Roxanne and I turn and look at each other at the same time. "Should we get some distance from your cauldrons?" she asks.
"Not necessarily.." Fred says with a cocky smirk, and George nudges him. "Just a meter.. Maybe two.." he adds guiltily.
I snicker, as I imagine what will happen to the oblivious professor. "10 points to Slytherin." he says in an emphasising tone, even though he still sounds bored.
