Soo Jung

In every single way possible, my mate reminded me of a puppy, or a newborn wolf. Eyes wide with curiosity but holding the depth of knowledge. Following me around everywhere. Playful and full of energy. Sometimes I wondered where he got the energy from, and then realised it must of had something to do with Taehyung being his father. I didn't mean that disrespectfully of course, but from the time I knew Taehyung before he changed, he was a very hyperactive male half of the time.

"Soo Jung~" Sa Mi flopped onto the couch, a towel around his neck and his clothes slightly damp and sticking to him. I laughed quietly at his state, with his dirty blonde hair in messy waves almost covering his eyes. Sometimes I'd feel weird, seeing him look so... alike to Taehyung.

"What is it Sa Mi?" I looked up from the book Namjoon had told me to read when everybody had settled.

"When are you going to pay attention to me and not the book?" He pouted and I had to refrain from coo'ing at the male sat in front of me looking undeniably hot yet cute at the same time. "You've barely said a word to me since you picked up that book."

"I'm sorry." I placed the bookmark inside and set it on the coffee table. He opened his arms and I, without hesitation, fell into them. He chuckled. "Where is everybody else?"

"Getting showers. It was rather muddy out today." He slowly wiggled his way down so he was laying, with his legs over the other side of the arm of the couch, with me on top of him. When the others were to come in, they wouldn't be shocked to see this. "See, I wouldn't mind if you laid with me and read your damned book, but you're determined not to kill that posture Jimin and Hoseok tricked you into having."

"Aish, shush. We don't talk about that posture problem." I mumbled quietly. He laughed quietly. What he was on about was when I was younger, as in much younger, and very naive Hoseok and Jimin had practically drilled it into me that a Princess needed proper posture.

"I still can't believe you said you would stay here to clean whilst we went on a run and then when we came back you had cleaned the entire house with a book on your head." His hands gently moved from around my waist to wrapping around my middle. "You refused to take the book off your head until Jungkook made you go shower. By then the posture had set in. Jungkook had murder with the two boys."

"Sa Mi~" I whined quietly, laughing shyly. "You promised to not mention it again." He laughed harder.

"Sorry Princess." It was a nickname he had given me when we had first started dating, before either of us knew what a mate was, and he usually used it now teasingly.

"You two have a room for cuddling and wanting to show affection to each other, go use it." Yeong Wan, Yoongi's daughter, huffed. She didn't mean it harshly, and you could tell by the way her lips were tugged upwards in a smile and her cheeks blushed lightly.

"You're just jealous because you haven't found your mate yet." Sa Mi spoke from below me.

"Yah! Am not!" She turned to glare at us from the other couch since Sa Mi and I were taking up the entire sofa here. Jae Rim entered the room next, and you could feel it by the atmosphere he created.

"As much as she likes you, I don't." He spoke, grabbing me by the waist and picking me up off Sa Mi. "You may not be younger than me Soo Jung. But you're like my little sister and that's close enough."

Sa Mi whined quietly, a pout forming on his lips. "Jae Rim." I spoke and he put me down.

"At least sit up and stop taking up the whole couch." He huffed.

"You're just jealous because you're short." Sa Mi grinned cheekily sitting up. Jae Rim glared at him.

"I am not short!" He crossed his arms.

"This pack is literally formed of children." Jong Seo, who prefers just being called Seo, huffed sitting beside Sa Mi. I sat down picking up the book and began reading.

"Tell me about it." I mumbled, ignoring the playful argument between Jae and Sa Mi. "Where are Ha Neul and Tae Ki?"

"They were the last two to shower." Seo spoke softly. "Why?"

"It's nearly time for my patrols, you know I don't like patrolling when I haven't made sure everybody is okay." I finished the page before putting the bookmark in on the page and putting it back on the bookshelf.

By time I had turned around Jae and Sa Mi were at each others throats, the playful argument turned bad.

"Guys!" Yeong Wan yelled, trying to get between the two of them. Seo ran a hand through his hair.

"Yeong Wan, just leave them. She's noticed and they're both in for an ass whooping now." He pulled Yeong Wan from danger as a growl tore through Jae's throat.

"We came down at a bad time." Ha Neul walked in looking tiny compared to Tae Ki, which she was anyway. "They're too engrossed in fighting to realise how pissed she's getting."

She was right, I could feel my anger boil inside of me.

"If you two do not split apart in precisely three seconds I'll make sure you're too sore to fight for a month." I growled. Neither budged. "Three, two... one." With that Jae had torn Sa Mi from the couch who had raised his hands to show he had heard me.

I sighed walking over and grabbing Jae's arm tight, the grip making him whimper and drop Sa Mi on the couch. "I understand you two aren't the best of friends, but you both need to fucking behave." I snarled. "Both of you to your rooms, I expect letters of apology written to eachother-"

"But I didn't do anything." Sa Mi whined.

"You made Jae angry, that's just as bad as him." I spoke firmly. "Both of you, go." I dropped Jae's arm and both ran to their rooms and if they were in their wolf forms their tails would be between their legs.

I took a deep breath.

"I'm definitely handling a pack of children." I ran a hand through my hair. "Ha Neul, Tae Ki, it was lovely to see you before I left." I smiled at the two before walking to the back door and stripping. Leaving my clothes by the door before opening it and running out, the rain beginning to fall. I changed wolf mid-stride entering the forest.
