I sat in the garden as the sun shone above me, the fence and the gate leading to the forest was shut. I laid on the sun lounger in a bikini to tan, sunglasses on.

"Excuse me, Miss?" A voice, one I hadn't heard before, broke the blissful silence I was experiencing because the rest of the pack were indoors doing their own things. I lifted my head slightly, looking in the direction the voice had came from. There stood a group of young hunters, guns in arms. "Do you know how unsafe it is to be outdoors alone? Especially when you live so close to the forest?"

"I'm quite aware, thank you." I went to lie back down again.

"Do you want one of us to stay here to protect you whilst the rest of us patrol?" They were looking me up and down. I raised an eyebrow.

"I'm also able to protect myself, thank you very much." I spoke firmly.

"You have some wolf tracks leading up to your fence and gate." Another commented. "Are you sure? The gate and fence won't stop them."

"I'm quite sure. The wolves don't seem all too aggressive to me. There's been times where I've been sat right here and they've visited this fence." I sat up completely, swinging my legs over the sun lounger, my feet touching the warm floor.

"Are you sure?" Another spoke.

"Jagiya, have you burnt yet? Do you need anything?" Sa Mi walked out in his shorts, sandles and t-shirt. His eyes locked on the hunters on the other side of the fence. I slid my feet into my flip flops and stood up.

"I'm positive, and even if I wasn't capable of protecting myself, my boyfriend here can most definitely take care of the both of us." I spoke firmly. "So please get off my land because as you can see beyond that fence for another five metres is my garden. If you don't get out of my garden and my land, I won't hesitate to call the authorities."

I slid my hand into Sa Mi's to calm him, and even he had tensed under my tone of voice.

"Sorry, we'll leave you and your boyfriend be." They bowed before walking off. Sa Mi let out a soft sigh, his arms wrapping around my waist.

When he got jealous he became like this. "I didn't like the way they were looking at you." He mumbled softly, his head dropping down to my neck. His lips gentle against the soft skin there. "Even if they were hunters, you're mine."

"I know Sa Mi," I whispered quietly bringing up my arms to lazily rest on his shoulders, hands joining behind his neck. "I'm always going to be yours and I always have been."

His lips formed into a small smile as he stood there holding me close. "They smelt so cocky too, I didn't like them."

"I didn't like them either, unfortunately we're human at the moment." I shrugged softly before he pulled away.

"We shouldn't hide forever, our wolves will go crazy eventually and rampage." He mumbled softly. I nodded.

"I know." I held both his hands. "I'll patrol tomorrow, late at night. If it seems safe enough we can go on a short run."

"If it isn't safe enough? What if you get hurt?" His eyes lowered, a small frown on his lips. I leant up, softly kissing him.

"I'll be okay, it'll be a short patrol." I spoke quietly pulling away. He reluctantly nodded.

"Let's go in."

I nodded smiling at him.
