Soo Jung

I came back, shaking the mud off my wolf before changing back and dressing before I headed upstairs. "Seo?" I called out, wincing slightly. He popped out of his room, hair messy and sleep evident.

"What is it Jung?" He asked.

"Call everybody to a meeting, it's urgent." I muttered softly. He nodded.

"Is everything okay?" He asked. I nodded limping to my room that I shared with Sa Mi. I walked in to see him sprawled out on the double bed we shared.

"Sa Mi." I walked over and shook him awake gently. He groaned quietly cracking his eyes open. "We have a meeting, can you go lead it for a few minutes?"

"Why?"

"Don't question it, I'll be downstairs in a few minutes, I've just got to do a few things." I mumbled. He sat up and sat me on the edge of the bed.

"Whatever is wrong, you can tell me." He cupped my cheeks, his eyes meeting mine.

"It's fine." I smiled slightly, kissing his cheek gently. "Now go, they'll be tired and confused." He nodded and stood up leaving. Once I was sure the door had closed, I peeled up my pants leg and saw blood slowly trickle down. I reached for my makeup bag and rumbled in it until I found tweezers. I took a deep breath before pulling, slowly, the bullet from my leg. I bit down on my lip to stop the sounds of pain leaving me. I panted when the bullet dropped to the floor.

I limped to the en suite, and grabbed some gauze and soft cotton before wrapping my leg up. I put on looser pants and changed my shirt before cleaning my mess and heading downstairs. When I arrived downstairs they were all sat, half asleep, on the sofa.

"I'm sorry to wake you all up." I started. "But it's a case of emergency."

"Mhm." One of them mumbled tiredly.

"Nobody will be leaving this house on runs for the next few days." I spoke and everybody's eyes snapped wide open.

"What? Why?" People were protesting.

"Because, on patrol today there were approximately ten hunters-"

"You got shot, didn't you." Jae spoke. I stood there in silence. I wasn't going to deny it, however I wasn't going to admit it.

"Yah! Why didn't you say something?" Sa Mi stood up, gripping my wrist.

"My job is to protect you all. Not complain about my own injuries." I spoke. "Anyway, there is a surge in hunters clearly and it's too dangerous to go out."

"What about our parents? Are they okay?" Seo asked.

"From what I picked up on my run, they left before even you guys went out." I spoke. "Everybody has to be careful now, no answering the door unless you know who it is, always have your phone on you when you go outside. No running in the woods."

"Yes Soo Jung." Everybody bowed their heads.

"That is all, feel free to go to bed now." I spoke. They nodded all heading upstairs, except for Sa Mi who was sat on the couch and patting the space beside him.

"Come here." He whispered quietly. I sat beside him and he hugged me gently. "Please don't feel that whenever you're in pain that you can't come to me to tell me, okay?"

"But-"

"No buts, I'm you're mate and I'm here to help you whatever way I can." He kissed my cheek softly.

"Thank you." I whispered quietly relaxing into his touch.

"You should go to bed and heal up." I went to stand up before I was scooped off my feet.

"Y-Yah!" I whisper yelled.

"My princess is injured, surely her knight in shining armour should take care of her?" He smirked.

I couldn't help but huff and hold on to him as he walked. He chuckled softly.
