Chapter 6 The Greatest Show In The Garden

 

Last years play

Today's the day. We're putting on Rapunzel. Woohoo. Note the sarcasm.
  "Oi Sakura your on now!" "Ok."
  "Mother why can't I go outside?" Then I looked at Mother Gothel/Yui. "The outside world is a very dangerous place my dear, so you must stay inside. "Ok."
  "Young Rapunzel was captured from her parents and taken by Mother Gothel. She only wanted the girl for her hair so she would never grow old. As months turned into years, Rapunzel saw the floating lights every year on her birthday and wanted to see them." Thoth is a very good narrator.
  "Oh Pascal I want to see the floating lights so bad. What should I do?" Then Pascel/Thor made strange noises. "Your right. Today's the day I'm going to tell mother that I want to see them!" "Rapunzel let down your hair!" Mother Gothel/Yui said. "Coming mother!" Then I went over to the window and dropped a purple curtain. What? You didn't expect me to dye my hair blond did you?
  Yui had to take rope climbing classes to do this. "I'm making your favorite for dinner!" She said. "Mother I want to see the floating lights!" I said and showed her the picture on the wall. I did the picture no one else here can draw. "No I forbid it. The outside world is a dangerous place filled with monsters." "What monsters?" "There's poison ivy, quicksand, canibals, and poisonous snakes, the plague. Then the men have pointy teeth to eat you with." I can't believe it. The whole place burst out laughing. Compose yourself don't laugh Laken! "No! I promise I won't leave this place mother!" "Good girl I'll be back my flower, so be good. Oh and those floating lights, there the stars." "Ok, bye mother."
  I'm off of the stage for now. Now it Takeru's turn. He stole the crown, and now Tsukito is chasing him. This is hilarious! I never even knew Tsukito could run this fast! Oh he's climbing the tower I'm on now!
  "Alone at last." Then I hit him with the frying pan and he fell. Then I turned him over, put down the frying pan and said, "I wonder how pointy his teeth are?" I looked at his teeth. "Wait what?! Their not pointy?!" Then the crowns burst out laughing again.
  Then I tied him to a chair and put the crown into a pot. Then he started to wake up. "Where am I?" "Who are you and how did you find me?" I said to him with the frying pan in hand. "Fair maiden I know not who you are or how I found you but. Hey how's you day going? I'm Flynn Rider, nice to meet ya." They burst out laughing again the crowd.
  "What brought you here. Why do you want my hair? Are you after the money you'll get for it? Are you going to sell it?" "The only thing I want to do with your hair is get out of it! I saw a tower and I climbed it because I was being chased after a horse. Ok?" "So you don't want my hair?" "No!" I'm going to make you a deal. I'll let you go and give you your crown, but only if you take me to see the floating lights." He looks so cute when he's pouting! Wait compose yourself. "You mean the lanterns they do for the lost princess every Year on her birthday?" "Lanterns. I knew they weren't stars. So do we have a deal?" "Ok! Let's go then."
  "As they left the tower they started to get hungry on the way so they went to the ugly duckling, but little did Rapunzel know what she was in store for." Man Thoth is a really good narrator!
  As soon as we opened the door I wanted to laugh! Almost all of the gods were in there dressed up as the bar people.
  "Flynn, why are there crazy people here?" "Relax blonde, there the good guys here sometimes! Hey Bob how you doing?" "Is this you?" He held up a wanted picture with the nose done wrong. "They just can't get my nose right." "We're going to turn you in and get that money." Loki said to him. "Wait I need that money, I'm broke." Balder said. Then they all started to argue over the money.
  "Stop it he's taking me to the lanterns to make my dream come true! Haven't any of you had a dream?!" "I dream of being a world famous pianist." Apollon said. Then Dionysus said, "I dream of finding the girl I love." "What about you what's your dream?" Loki asked him. "I don't have one." Then they all pointed their weapons at him. Takeru is doing awesome! "I dream of being on a island that I own surrounded by a million tons of money."
  Then, the door opened and Maximus/Tsukito came in looking for Flynn. Then Loki pushed us behind the bar and opened a door. "Go, and live your dream." "Thanks." Takeru said with a grin. "I was talking to her, your dream stinks." Loki said, winked at me, and stuck his tongue out at Takeru. Oh no. "Wow. Like yours doesn't." That's not part of the script. "Flynn we have to go before Maximus finds us." Then we left. Everything went smoothly after that. Once the play was finally over, I was so happy. I'm never doing a play again!
  Zeus said he wanted to talk to me. I wonder what this is about? "Takeru!" "Yeah?" We were having the after party but I think I'll go see what he wants now. "Zeus wanted to talk to me I'll be back soon ok?" "Ok." Then I gave him a peck on the lips and said "I'll see you soon Flynn Rider." Then I winked at him and left. He must be blushing so bad right now.
  When I opened the door I saw three men there. "Ah Laken you finally came." "Yeah who are they?" "I thought you would be more energetic to see some of you many brothers." "No way!" "Yep."
Then one of them came up to me, picked me up, and hugged me. He has huge fluffy brown hair, and one blue eye. A cyclops? Fuck it. I have a family now. Then he put me down and said, "I'm your half-brother Tyson, as you can see I'm a cyclops." "It's nice to meet you. I'm Laken as you may or may not have known." "I'm surprised." "Why?" "Your Japanese! I never thought Dad would go for a Japanese person." "That's offensive I'm dating a Japanese god first off, and second this is a mask. I'm Greek really." "I'm sorry I didn't know. Please forgive me!" "I forgive you." I said giggling.
Then another one came up to me and hugged me. He has jet black hair, and beautiful blue eyes. "I'm so happy to finally meet you!" Then he starts crying. "I'm happy to meet you too." I patted his back as he cried on me. "Percy I think you should tell her your name. Otherwise this is just going to be more awkward for her." The last man spoke. I'm glad he said it. This was starting to get awkward. "You right where are my manners?" He says and laughs a little. "I'm Percy Jackson, your half-brother." "Very nice to meet you Percy." I said and smiled at him.
"I'm Theseus your other half-brother." He said to me irately. He has dark brown hair, you would almost think it's black, and he has brown eyes. "Its nice to meet you." "Wish I could say the same." He mumbled under his bresth. Well. Um this is awkward. Mean already and I only said five words to him.
  "I am very happy to see all of you, but what are you doing here?" "They are going to teach you remember?" "I remember, but I thought I told you I was going to spend the rest of the year here?" "You are, but one a week every month, you will go to camp half-blood and learn to be a goddess." "Whatever you say." I whispered under my breath.
  Then a bright light covered us, and we were inside of the camp. I feel different. I looked at my clothes and saw I was in my god form, my mask must be off to. I feel so exposed! I put my hands on my shoulders, then everyone started looking at me. There's a lot of kids here!
"Um why is everyone looking at me?" I asked Tyson, then he said, "Probably because we don't get many goddess or gods here. And your very exposed so." Then he looked away blushing. "Well I didn't ask for my clothes to be this exposing!"I said blushing back.
  Then a group of girls came over to me. "Hi I'm Sage!" "Hi I'm Hela!" "Are you a goddess?" "Who are your parents?" "Your one of our sisters right?" "Hi I'm Beatrice!" Girl kept on coming over to me and telling me their names and asking questions. Then the worst thing ever happened. I heard footsteps, heavy ones. It sounds like a stampede. I looked where they were coming from, and saw a wave of boys! "Are you single?" "I'm Jack!" "What's your name?" "You should hang out with me sometime!" "Do you want to go on a date?" "I'm Jason!"
  "Laken!" "Laken!" Percy and Tyson screamed trying to get to me, but unable to. "Enough!" Suddenly Dionysus came out of nowhere, and everybody made a path for him. How is he here?! He's supposed to be on the Island! "You must be Laken that Greek goddess of the sea. Your Poseidon and Aphrodite's right?" "Yeah? But how are you here? Your supposed to be on." "Kids you all go back to what you were doing and leave this poor girl alone for the day!" "Yes!" Then they all ran back to where they came from.
  "I am not the real Dionysus. I'm am an copy that Zeus made. He made one of everyone, but we don't all act how we're supposed to." I let out a sigh of relief. If he knew what I really am, I'm afraid of what would happen.
After that, Percy and Tyson gave me a tour of the whole camp. They said because their working on making a cabin just for the gods that I should stay in either the Poseidon or the Aphrodite house. I chose the Poseidon house, the girls at the Aphrodite house looked like they wanted to kill me. I guess their jealous of my beautiful looks.
Then for the rest of the week I was training. I learned how to use a katana, how to do Tang Soo Doo, boxing, wrestling, and a bunch of other combat stuff. They said when I come back next time I have to chose my significant weapon. They said that it would always be with me and stuff. Then they taught me how to use some of my combat power and how to fly! This week was so much fun! I wish it didn't have to end. But I'm happy that it did. Now I can finally see Takeru again!
'Dionysus' said that I should wait by the entrance of the camp and then Zeus would take me back. "Promise me you'll come back next month?" Percy asked me. "I promise." I said and smiled at him. "Good, because we still have many people to introduce you too." Tyson said. I giggled and ruffled his hair a bit.
Then the light surrounded me, and I said good bye to them and went back. When I opened my eyes, I was in my room, on my bed, with the shackles on.
Good you finally came back." Haruhi said and I said "Wait, you knew where I was?" "Yeah. Do you know how hard it was to tell everyone that you got in and after school detention for a whole week, and that you have to do this every month?! They were about to pass out when they heard this!" "That's a big lie to tell them in deed." "So how was it." Then I told her everything I did, and stuff about my brothers. She looked shocked at first, but then smiled at me.
"I'm so proud of you!" She said and hugged my waist as best she could. "What do you mean?" I asked her. "You're turning into a great goddess, and you might be the best goddess know to man! And you made friends!" Wait what? Best goddess know to man? What's that supposed to mean? "What do you mean best goddess known to man?" I looked at her suspiciously.
"Well I um. . . You see um. . Well I. . . May have told the others about a new goddess named Laken, and who her parents are, and what her powers are and how strong she is." She said as she looked down. "You did what?!" I yelled at her. "I'm sorry! Please forgive me!" She said giving me that puppy eyes. Too cute! Can't resist! No Laken! You must. . . I hate this doll. "I forgive you." "Yay!" Then Haruhi started jumping up and down on my lap.
I looked at the time and it said 10:30, its late. It would be rude of me to go see Takeru this late at night, but I want to see him so bad! As I walked past the boys dorms, I stoped at the one that said Japanese Gods. I knocked on it, and I heard Takeru say "Wait a second will ya." I giggled when he said that. I missed him so much!
When he opened the door, he only had on his pajama pants, no top! I know I shouldn't be this shy, after all he wore less clothing at the beach. Then he hugged me close to him and said, "Sakura I missed you so much! Don't ever leave me again!" I didn't say anything, I hugged him back, and kissed his cheek. "Well are you going to invite me in or are we staying like this the whole night?" I said to him. Then he let go of me and said, "Will you please join me in my room?" "I would love to."
Then he held my hand, as we walked into his room. I sat on his bed, and explained the lye more clearly to him. After that, it was eleven, and I really don't feel like going back to my room. I'm so tired!
"Oi Sakura?" "Yea." "Will you sleep with me?" He said while blushing. "I would love too." Then we both got under the covers and snuggled close to each other. I used his arm as my pillow as I started to blush. I can't believe I'm sleeping with him! My heart feels like it's going to explode! "Good night." He says and kisses me gently on the lips. "Good night." I say and give him a quick peck, before falling asleep surrounded in his warmth.
