My body felt blissfully warm, strong arms held me in a comforting embrace. I was cradled against a strong chiseled torso. Fire burned in my cheeks as I realized I was wrapped in Kaname's arms, in his bed. Memories of the night before flooded my mind. Nothing had happened. Though I knew it was still wrong, I didn't regret my decision. It was nice falling asleep in his arms; it was nice to feel loved, even if he was only toying with me.

"Good morning, Imouto-chan." Kaname's voice was deep and husky as he'd just woken up and his hot breath tickled across the back of my neck sending delightful shivers down my spine.

"Good morning." My voice was nothing more than a whisper of a squeak.

"Stay with me like this forever." Kaname's voice was suave again yet still a bit husky and his grip around me tightened stealing my breath away.

"I can't." I squeaked breathlessly.

Kaname chuckled and nuzzled my neck softly, "Perhaps you're right, there are many more things I'd like to experience with you."

My heart was pounding in my chest. "I need to call Lee." I managed to blurt out as I wriggled out of his hold and bolted for the bookcase I'd dropped my phone on only to pause as I noticed it wasn't where I had left it."

Before I could open my mouth to ask Kaname if he had seen my phone, I heard him get up from the bed with a sigh and turned as he reached over to the bedside table and unplugged my phone from a charger, "It should be fully charged now." He smiled softly as he gracefully got out of bed.

A blush clung to my cheeks as I watched him move, graceful and smooth like a big cat of prey. His blonde hair was perfectly tousled from sleep and the robes he normally wore were loose around him and open in the front revealing his well-toned pectoral muscles and the top of a six-pack poking out from where the gap in his robe began to close. I accepted my phone from him with an incomprehensible squeak of thanks and turned my back on him so he could adjust his robes. Frantically I checked my phone, there weren't any missed calls or messages from Lee.

My heart dropped, why would she take so long to respond? I quickly dialed her number and desperately gripped my phone as I shakily brought it up to my ear. It went straight to voicemail. My stomach churned. Something terrible happened to her.

"Ana?" Kaname called to me softly.

I pressed redial and clutched the phone to my chest as I listened intently to Lee's voicemail message once more. Why? Why wasn't she answering?

"Ana, you're shaking." Kaname gently placed his hand atop my shoulder and gripped it in a reassuring manner. "Don't worry, she can take care of herself. She'll call you back when she can."

"She's never away from her phone this long." I protested. "Something's wrong. I just know it."

"She'll be okay. She'll call when she's ready." He tried once more to reassure me.

My emotions were in turmoil.

"Why don't you go get yourself cleaned up and changed and we can go out for brunch." He moved closer, his arm snaked around my waist and held me tightly as he leaned forward to breathe in my ear, "Though if you'd prefer onii-chan could join you."

"Ah, no thanks, Kaname-san." I managed to break away from him, "I can manage on my own."

"Suit yourself." I could hear the wink in his voice as he said it and couldn't help but smile softly to myself. In his own twisted way he was trying to cheer me up.
