"I would love to Grayson"
Those five words made my heart flutter
"Wait, really?"
She looks at me with assuring eyes
"Yes Grayson, but I don't want to take it fast. I want to start out as friends and stay like that for awhile."
"Whatever you'd like Sahar."
"Where is he?" I say as I enter the house seeing no sign of her boyfriend
"Oh, he's at work."
I murmur a quick okay
We both sit down on her couch and I just stare, not at the living room but at her. Many things have changed since we've broken up, she's changed her hair, it's darker and shorter and she wears it down instead of up like she used to.
I quickly snap back in reality when she asks what I'm looking at
"You." I respond and her cheeks instantly become rosy
"Thank you Sahar." I tell her
"For what?"
"For giving me a second chance, I know I don't deserve it."
"Well...everyone deserves a second chance" she says with a smile
