Adult Child

Jay and I decided to go down to the reception to ask for some pain killers for the boys in the morning, just in case they need it.

   "Excuse me, but do you have like... pain killers? Two?" Jay asks the guy on the reception.

   "One second." He goes to the back and comes two minutes later back with two pills in a plastic bag. You could really think that are drugs, but hopefully not.

   "Thank you." I say and turn around to go back up, but Jay stops.

   "We don't have to go straight back up, do we?" I frown.

   "Why?" He smiles and points behind him.

   "I saw an air hockey table back there. You wanna play?" I smile at the man I just met a around 24 hours ago.

   "I think Elton can handle them." I say and we make our way to the air hockey table.

Around thirty minutes later we knock at the door to the boy's room. Yes, we played half an hour air hockey.

   Elton opens the door and looks relieved.

   "Thank god, they are drunk!" he complains as we enter the room.

   "How much did they drink?" I ask while closing the door behind me.

   "You guys didn't!" Jay exclaims and shows me an half empty bottle, well it's more than half empty, nearly completely empty.

   "They drunk more after they finished recording." Elton explains quick.

   "Hey babe! I'm drunk!" Colby says sitting on the bed. I chuckle and nod.

   "I know." I say as I turn to Elton. "Here a pain killer for Brennen." I give him one of the pills and he puts it  somewhere in the bathroom.

   "Well, I think I'm going to bring this baby to bed. Better he sleeps well now." I suggest and get nods from Jay and Elton.

   "I don't wanna go! I wanna stay with Brennen!" Colby says and hugs Brennen with a pout like a child. I can't stop smiling.

   "Fine, your 20, I can't force you. I'm gonna go, because I'm tired." I say and Colby smiles.

   I turn to the boys.

   "I wish you a good night. See you tomorrow." Jay and Elton say night too, Brennen and Colby just giggle like school girl talking to their crush.

   I leave the boys room and open my own as something comes to my mind. I take the tray that's laying on the table, putting the glasses and water on the table, then I open the door and take the key.

   Before the door closes I put the tray between the door and the door frame. I knock at the door to the boys and Elton opens a few seconds later.

   "Elli? Is it already next morning?" he asks and I shake my head smiling.

   "I just wanted to give you the room key, in case Colby decides to come over." Elton nods and I give him the card.

   "I'll give it to him." I smile.

   "Thanks. And good night again." I go back to my room and get my stuff to take a quick shower.

As I leave the bathroom I get nearly a heart attack.

   "You scared me, Colby." I look at the boy with the brown hair sitting on the bed.

   "I didn't mean to." He says and gets up as I turn off the light in the bathroom.

   Colby stops in front of me and scans me up and down, I tilt my head a little.

   "You okay?" I ask and tilt my head back, Colby nods.

   Then he cups my cheeks and kiss me. I just put my hands behind his back as he steps closer so our bodys touch. His left hand moves to the back of my head and he stops it in my wet hair.

   I'm the first to move back. With a smile on my face I look at him.

   "Where is the little boy that wanted to stay with Brennen?" I asks a little teasingly.

   Colby smiles and pecks my lips as his hands fall to his side and he yawns.

   "Someone's tired." I claim and Colby rolls his eyes.

   "I'm not." he says like a child. I poke his nose and go over to the bed.

   "You are. And I am too." I sit down at the bed and look at him.

   "You're boring." I chuckle at his pout.

   "Oh, I am? Why did you come over then?" Colby stands there, looking at me with crossed arms.

   "Can we go down, please?" I sigh.

   "You want the whole hotel to see me in my clothes I sleep in?" He goes to his bag and throws a purple hoodie to me. It's his nocturnal universe hoodie. I really like that one.

   I smile, pull the hoodie over my head and get up.

   "Fine, but not that long." Colby smiles satisfied and holds his hand towards me. I take it with a smile and we leave the hotel room.

   Colby walks to the elevator, our fingers intertwined as he presses the button next to the L, lobby.

   "What do you want to do anyways?" I ask curious. He just shrugs.

   "We'll see." he claims with a smile towards me. I sigh and just accept my fate to run around the hotel with a slightly drunk Colby, who sometimes becomes a child. I just hope it's not getting too late.

Hey guys, I'm sorry this part took so long.

I started it twice, because I wasn't happy with the first version...

I hope it's okay that the part is so short, but I just needed go finish that chapter now.
