When I arrived at the park, I saw Luke walking to the moon bridge and smiled to myself, walking up to Luke on the bridge, "Hey Luke," I touched his shoulder making him turn around and face me, his eyes lit up, "Ophelia!" he practically yells, following with a hug and then picks me up, and spins us around. "I've missed you Opie," he sets me down, looks down at me and into my eyes while I stare back.

"Luke, why'd you want me to meet you tonight?" I asked as he brings his hand up to my cheek, and caresses it "Ophelia I want to run away with you, away from here, away from our families, and we can decide what happens with our life, I love you Ophelia and I'd want nothing more, than to be with you and just you until we're old." I looked at him shocked with my mouth gaping like a fish, opening and closing, trying to find the words to respond. "I didn't know that you felt that way...but I'm glad you do," I smiled at him gleefully.

My smile faded upon seeing Luke's eyes turning black, "You stupid little bitch," were the last words that fell on my ears as the world went black.

TIMESKIP

I can feel my eyes open and try to take in my surroundings but the room is so dark that even squinting won't help, my nose burns taking in the smells of muskiness, iron, and rotting. Tears welled up in my eyes upon realizing what I had just gotten myself into, my dad is going to be so pissed at me.

Suddenly, while looking around the room for some source of light, a door opens and a bright beam of light shines in from what I can assume is a hallway, and the room becomes illuminated. I swing my head over to look at who had turned the lights on, a short man, in a dark suit, short dark brown hair.

Something about him was familiar, he started walking towards me, making me stiff in the chair. "What do you want from me?" I asked curiously, "Who are you?!" I yell when he doesn't answer me. "Tsk" "Tsk" "Tsk...you're feisty like squirrel," he said in a deep British accent, coming behind me messing with objects that I can't see. "Squirrel? Who are you? Why am I here? Answer me bastard!" I yell at him waiting for some type of reaction, just to be met with him chuckling behind me, I can feel warm tears forming, about to fall, I miss my dad...I should've stayed home.

The mysterious man walks back in front of me, "Tears? You're working yourself up for nothing my dear, you're bait" bait? Does he have beef with my dad? "Bait? For who?" I asked, needing more to this situation, "You wanted to know who squirrel is? Your father is squirrel, and he has something I need..." he trailed off onto a thought I believe, but what did dad do? "Maybe you know what I'm looking for little one...have you ever heard of a demon blade?" demon blade? Uncle Sam's demon blade? "...No" I hesitated, he'll know I'm lying, "My dad doesn't involve me in this world very much, I don't go hunting, my dad has tried to give me a normal life as much as possible, I do know about monsters and all that, I've been taught how to protect myself against monsters but...I've never actually fought one..." my voice fades was I finish what I was saying, I didn't mean to tell that much about myself, I freaked and just started yapping.

"Never fought a monster? Huh, I really thought squirrel would've made his little munchkins into extraordinary hunters like himself," the man inched towards me and bent down towards my face, "Let's get your first monster little one and lets make it worth it, hmm?" my eyes became wide, he gonna take me on a hunt? There's gotta be a catch..."Why be nice to me if you're just using me to get to my father?" "You're smart but I need your trust and without trust what is there?" I roll my eyes, "Evil men that kidnap teenagers," he chuckles towards my response "Smartass." is what he says before he goes behind me and I hear shuffling.

Darkness, the man placed a bag over my head, I assume he'll take me somewhere. My restraints are off, one by one and then I'm pulled up and out of the chair by my arm roughly. the man leads me out of the room and down the hallway, I think, this is a long hallway but soon we're met with the fresh breeze of the outdoors, I can hear birds chirping, is it dawn? How long was I out for? My thoughts are cut short with being shoved into what I can only assume is the backseat of a car, I adjust myself and sit up, the man gets in, and starts the car, taking us to god knows where.

Hi all! I know this is a revive of an old story I used to write but because it's a revive, I would like some feedback on these first three chapters, constructive criticism is welcome as well as support but I don't condone hateful comments.
