Spinner drove us to the party. We pulled up to Nate's house which was practically throbbing to the beat of the music.
"Ok, remember" I said, " don't interfere with me and Nate's conversations."
"Yeah, yeah." He said swinging his door open and getting out.
"Hey Nate!" I said skipping towards him,
"Hey April, wazzup?" He said enthusiastically,
Nate and I chatted for a while and I have to admit, I think he felt the same about me as I did about him.
Nate stopped mid sentence and stared at me,
"What?" I laughed,
"Nothing, nothing" he said, " you're just so beautiful." I looked into his blue eyes and leaned in, Nate leant in too we both shut our eyes and waited until our lips connected. But just as we were about to kiss I felt someone grab my arm and drag me away,
"SPINNER!"
"April, we're going."
" What the hell! Let go of me!"
Spinner lead me outside and let go,
"WHAT THE HELL IS YOUR PROBLEM!" I screamed," FIRST YOU COME INTO MY HOME, THEN YOU BASICALLY THROW ME ONTO MY HORSE THEN YOU RUN AWAY MAKING ME FEEL STUPID , AND NOW YOUVE RUINED MY CHANCES WITH NATE?! I MEAN -" Spinner stopped me by pressing his lips against mine sending tingles down my spine. He wrapped his arms around my waste and drew me closer to him and I in turn clasped my hands behind his neck. I was so confused, I hated this guy why was I kissing him and why did it feel so... right? I broke the kiss keeping our noses touching and opening my eyes,
" I think you're right." I said,
" Yeah, I usually am." He laughed, " but I'm not sure about which time your talking about."
" I was talking about going home."
" Oh yeah, sure." He said then he gave me a quick peck on the lips before helping me into the car.
