(So, this section contains mouthplay, so, if you don't like mouth play, then I wouldn't recommend reading the section that's underlined. Anyways, enjoy chapter 3)
Despite your instincts screaming at you to run away and hide (which you knew right away that he'd be much faster than you.) you stood your ground, looking him in the eye while masking your fear.
"Oh, a brave human, one with more brains than instinct. That's a good trait to have." He mused. You didn't like that tone very much, but at least he wasn't angry.
"So, why am I here? What exactly are you?" She asked.
"Well, first off, so that you don't have to call me, "The Giant," my name is Mark. I am a hybrid of a MountainClimber and an AshDuster, hence the pic axe like claws and the sulfuric breath." He began, looking down at the long, perfectly curved black claws that were scarred by being thrusted into rocks many of times, then returned to looking you dead in the eyes while rolling a deer bone absent-mindedly with one claw. "They put you in here with me because they expect me to eat you, but if I had it my way, I'd cram those soldiers down someone else's throat." He said sadly. Was he being forced to eat humans? You studied his build, he was built strong, but was very thin.
"You won't, you're not going to, e-eat me, are you?" You asked.
"Well, no, not intentionally, or on purpose. Although, we may have to put on a little show..." he said, looking around.
There must be cameras here... you thought.
"In almost every corner and on every peak here." Mark said.
"Stay out of my head, please?" You asked. Mark nodded.
"I'll try my best..." Mark said. "But be glad you're not Jack's enclosure buddy, he'd be bugging you non stop and his ability is enchantment. He'd have you enchanted in a heartbeat." Now you were kind of glad you were stuck with a mind-reader. If you were enchanted, hell, the guy would probably enchant you to allow him to eat you and never fuss about it! Or, he could enchant you to agree to do anything for him, including feeding him.
"Most likely he'll enchant you to have acid resistance, a useful enchantment for living with-okay I'll just shut up and stop reading your thoughts for a while." Mark said, catching your glare. Even though he was much bigger, stronger, faster, and better than you, he did respect your requests and didn't take advantage of your size.
"Also, what did you mean by-" before you could finish he picked you up. You screamed as he lifted you up to his face, looking back at the exact same spot. You had just noticed a camera nestled safely between the rocks. He then looked back at you, fear and worry well-written on his face and eyes.
"Look, I'm sorry, like I said, if I had it my way, I wouldn't have to do this, I really don't, you're a good kid, but they won't let you live or leave me alone if I don't do this." He said, tilting his head back. "Try not to squirm to much, you'll see why."
With that he opened his mouth, and dropped you in. You screamed as he closed his mouth, but his tongue rolled you under. He swallowed, but you didn't go with it.
Smart, but really?! You thought, wiping a strand of saliva off your face. His tongue lifted off you slightly, but still had you in a secure hold underneath it. He started to walk, and you tried to grab something, even though it was pitch black and you were trapped under a giant's tongue. But that wasn't even the worst part. His breath smelled horrific, as if he had eaten a large amount of sulfur. Hell, it smelled like you were trapped inside a piece of sulfur.
"Sorry about that, AshDuster breath was dominant when they turned me into a giant." Mark apologized. This was one of the few times you weren't annoyed by Mark reading your thoughts.
"AshDuster?" You asked, wiping more saliva off your face.
"A giant that lives on a volcanic island. Apparently bad-breath became a trait for them." Mark said. It was kind of annoying to be under his tongue, mainly while he was talking. After a long while Mark's tongue shifted and slid under you. He opened his mouth and the tongue rolled you out onto his hand. You glared up at him, not because you were mad, but because of the sudden change of brightness.
"Let's never do that again." You said. Mark nodded in agreement.
"I won't do it again, I promise." Mark said. He put you down by a stream, a dismantled camera lay at the base of an enormous tree. He didn't even have to tell you to wash up as you made a b-line for the stream, jumping in. You took a few quick gulps of water, glad to be free of both Mark's mouth and the volcanic area. You noticed that outside it was getting late, but you were also hungry, since you spent so little on food. Honestly, you were exhausted, but you didn't want to go to sleep on an empty stomach, now that you had recovered from nearly throwing up 4 times (mainly from Mark's sulfur-breath).
What would you like to do first?
A) fuel up! B) a nap sounds nice...
