Perrie's POV

After moving in yesterday, I was ready to get started with classes. I got out of bed and grabbed my dancing gear and headed for the bathrrom with my toiletries. The halls were still deserted, but we were told that the studios opened at 6am and we could do some extra work in between 6-9am or 4-9pm. Which is just what I needed. After showering, I dried my self and got into my gear. First tights, then teal leotard. I put on my wrap/skirt then put on my slippers. I headed back to the dorms and saw that Jade was finally up. She obviously hadn't showered but was in her ballet gear too.

"You off to practice?" She asked.

"Yeah, just to get the feel of the place." I put my toiletries on my bed then grabbed my baby pink pointe shoes.

"Can I come?" She asked. I nodded and she showed me to studio 1 which was the biggest, not that we needed the space but she said she prefered that studio. We got there and it was empty so, we opened the door and placed our bgs on the floor. Leaving the door open, we exchanged slippers for pointe shoes then walked over to the bar that was screwd to the mirror on the far wall.

"So how long have you been dancing?" Jade asks.

"Since I can remember." I reply as we stretch on the bar and go through releves.

"So can you show me a dance you did?" She asks. The only dance I know of my heart is swan lake because I did it only a few months ago for an eistedford.

"Um, sure." I finish up on the bar and Jade sits agains the wall next to the open door. I get into position as she presses play on the sound system.

I start to move lightly like a swan, gently moving to the soft music, finding my happy place. Kathrin once said to me that dancing is like dreaming with your feet. And she was right. I could never have been more happy, more free, more myself, then when I'm dancing.

Zayn's POV

I head back from the showers passing a few girls heading to the showers. I walk in my dance gear to my room then put my toiletries and all that away before heading off to get an early start. I walk down the corridors that have the studios, one after the other. I hear a soft music, Swan lake I think. I continue down the hall to where the music is coming from. Studio 1. All the studio have windows facing the hall ways so I stand slightly to the side so I don't interupt and I peek my head around the door frame.

Perrie. It's Perrie. She is dancing swan lake. When I walk forward a bit I see Jade, that weird geeky chick watching her. She looks really elegant and graceful. The music stops with her on the floor bent over. She stands back up walks to Jade, whilst I continue to watch on.

"Oh, Zayn." Perrie calls. She spotted me. I walk around the door frame in my hip- hop practice wear. I have first year Ballet first but I don't practice in the tights and ballet flats if I don't have to.

"Oh, Hey Perrie." I greet.

"You were watching?" She asks.

"Yeah you are a really good dancer." I comment.

"I thought you said you hadn't met any guys." Jade says to Perrie.

"No I said that I haven't seen any guys that I wanted." Perrie said back. That hurt. I'm standing right here.

"Thank you." I say slowly and sarcastically.

"Well even if I wanted you, you have Cleo so..." She points out.

"Yeah, I know but I'm still a guy." I say. "Anyway, I'm going to practice." I spin on my heel and advance towards the door.

"Wait. Maybe you and Perrie can do the duet part." Jade suggests. "I mean you being the principle dancer of first year." She didn't need to point that out but anyway.
