"Dean! I think I figured it out," yelled Sam over the sound of the hotel shower running. They were in a small town outside of Memphis. Bobby had tipped them off saying that there was something going on in this town. Five bodies all found dead, all teens, all going to the same school.

The cause of death was said to be unknown but Sam and Dean knew things the coroners didn't. He flipped through another coroner report. Shriveled brain, puncture wound behind the ear, and high levels of dopamine. To the local police, it may seem like a freak serial killer but for now, it seems like they had no idea.

The bathroom door opened and Dean stepped out in PJ bottoms. "What did you yell?"

"I said I figured it out I hacked into the police stations servers and looked at the coroner's report. Dried up brain, wound behind the ear, high levels of dopamine. It looks like a wraith."

"Great, do the vics have any connections.?" He asked as he slipped on a t-shirt.

"Well get this, apparently it has a taste for the young brains because all the vics were between the age of 18 and 24 and all attend the same school."

"Right we thinking feds on this one?"

"Sounds good, lets hit the sack. Then check out the school in the morning."

-----Next morning-----

The boys were in their suits and at the school before 7:00 am. They slid out of the car and walked through the hall into the office. The young secretary looked up as the door opened and Dean swore she gasped when she saw Sam. She stood up as the boys approached her desk

"Yes what can I do for you," she said in a hinting tone and a wink at Sam and Dean just about died right there.

"Hi," he said with a smile, "I'm special Agent Harrison and this is my partner special Agent Starr."

"Were, um, we're here about the students, the ones that, you know, umm, died," stuttered out Sam.

"Ah," She said with a frown, "there isn't much I can tell you that the police don't know."

"We like to get our information first hand. So tell us about the students, were they acting strange, did they know each other?"

"Well, I didn't know many of them since I just moved to town about a year ago. But James was the star football player and everybody loved him and Kylie was a bit of a troublemaker she was constantly in the office for doing something. If you want to know more I'de go talk to Professor Braker he had a couple of the kids in his Econ class and should be free right now."

After the two brothers were given the directions to the professor's office and Sam had explicitly told the secretary that they didn't, in fact, need a personal guide, the boys hurried out of the office.

They quickly navigated the school and found the office. The door was closed so Sam knocked and the men got out their badges. When the door opened they saw a short bald man with a grey goatee and sporting slacks, dress shirt, and tie.

"Hello? What can I do for you fellows?" The professor greeted.

After the boys flashed their badges and introduced themselves they began to question the man. After asking about each of the victims the boys began to string together how the kids were connected. When they were fairly sure how to find the next vic they thanked the professor and left the college.

Back at the motel Dean was counting out the silver bullets they had and gathering all the other silver objects they had in the trunk of baby. Sam sat at the desk with a paper and pen connecting names to studies. They had figured out while questioning the professor that each of the victims had been kids with higher grades but excelling in a certain field.
