Aimee.

Books became my everything, when everyone and everything else failed me.

It was just me, myself & books..

Or at least it was, that is until Josh entered my life.

My Joshy Pooh.

My cup of Jo.

The day I met Josh was like any other day.

I was at the coffee shop down the street from where we lived waiting for Sabrina.

An as usual she was late.

When someone gave me a specific time, I expect them either earlier or exactly on time but not Sabrina the queen.

She was always doing what she pleased.

I hated it but hey coffee and reading?

Hells yeah, I didn't mind her being late for once.

So there I was drinking my iced coffee and reading, 'Venom & Glory' by S, when this guy walks up and asks if the seat across from me is taken.

I was so lost in S's writing that I didn't even care that Brina was on her way and yeah the seat was kinda taken.

I just mumbled a reply.

If you were to ask me what I mumbled?

I'd have not one clue and to be honest I didn't care this book was just to damn good.

That is until I heard, "Cool cover, is it any good?" A male voice asked, across the table from me.

How dare this person interrupt my reading?

And futher more ask that stupid question?

Grrrr.

This was war.

I booked marked the page and gently rested my book down, coming face to face with the stupid question asker.

He sat across from me staring at me with a raised brow, waiting for a reply. My reply.

And he sure was gonna get one.

But first I had to take a minute to admire his beauty.

With slightly long brown hair slicked back, the sides of his head shaved, chocolate eyes, or maybe the color of my favourite coffee, dark brown after a little milk is added.

He had sharp features, plump lips, a nice looking upper body.

Come on, it was all I could see while he was seated!

He was deliciously handsome.

Alright the minute's up, time to answer that stupid question.
