highschool hierachy

Here’s the thing. I’ve probably watched like 1093884 movies that involved highschool hierarchy, popular people, the typical mean bitch cheerleader ass, and all that stuff. I always try to laugh it off but lately it’s been getting on my nerves. I’ve watched it, read it, but I haven’t really seen it. I don’t know if it’s because 99% of those movies are set in an American school and I live in someplace like Narnia or wherever.

In my typical day at school you wouldn’t see cheerleaders in high skimpy skirts latching on to some jock’s arm (they’re usually pretty busy with practicing not making out by the lockers), no social cliques, no much awaited mean girls scene, no ultra-rich Cher with her Gucci bags (from that 1990’s movie) but there’s the occasional PDA (ew). SCHOOL IS NOT FOR GETTING PREGNANT OKAY go do that in a warehouse or smthn, don't want to get others eyes scarred now don't we.

I absolutely have no idea if this sort of social triangle exists though.

The geniuses in our school are usually the ones who get praised a lot not like in stories where they bashed, bruised, and branded a “nerd”.

There’s also those who were blessed with gorgeous genes, but they’re far from movies. They’re usually unbelievably nice. I don’t get the whole I’mbeautifulbowdownbeforemefuglyhumans.

So tell me, does high school hierarchy and all that shit I read about blonde-whore-Regina George like-cheerleaders exist or are they really an exaggeration to what high school is, like what I think.
