Crimson Nightmare

As time passed by, the dark sky of the night was witnessing the imposing blizzard. As the two girls were exploring the spine chilling castle, it seemed a long tedious night, even though, it hasn't been a full hour since the whole group entered the castle. In that unlighted environment the only way the pair could see something was with a lantern.

 "Amy, do you know where are we going?" Stacey was raising the question as she was watching Amy wandering around the halls of the building as she was looking for something. "Uhm, no, uh, yeah, I know where we are going, and its not like we could stay in the same place until the time period finished, so I thought... w-we could... explore this massive castle, yeah," Amy unsurely answered the question, but it didn't seem as she was sure, in fact she seemed to be hiding something from Stacey, who was getting more dubious of her companion. as the duo decided on what to do, they started looking at the rooms, but as they were searching they were seemingly overwhelmed by the massive mansion. 

"Should we have some conversation, just so we can make this more bearable?" Amy asked in attempt to make conversation with her friend, as Stacey heard those words she had a sweet smile that resembled an angel smile, "Yeah sure, how else would we have at least one bit of entertainment in this bizarre, it would be pretty stressful," Stacey asserted in a positive way as the two girls started to laugh tirelessly. 

"This whole thing is pretty ridiculous, I don't know what was going through his mind to try such stupid idea in a freezing day like this," Amy comfortably established a proper conversation as the two girls seemed to start enjoying the whole exploration. "If you put it in another way this doesn't seem that bad, I mean the conditions could be better, but nonetheless this is kinda adventurous, don't you think?" Stacey pointed out, however, while they were walking around the castle, Stacey started feeling that something wasn't right. "Oi, Amy isn't a bit strange that the other three that entered haven't given any signals?" Stacey dubiously asked, as she heard the question Amy seemed to be more nervous to the point of not speaking properly "Uh-w-what...are you talking about? There was just 3 groups that entered the building, don't you remember?". 

"No, I'm talking about the group that entered first to pull a prank on Joey. We already knew that this was a setup from the beginning, you might as well stop covering up and start spitting everything," Stacey astutely discovered everything that Amy was hiding, making her confessing all that she knew. 

"Well, it seems I can't hide anything from you, can't I? Ok, for starters the group that entered the house apart from us was indeed suppose to pull a prank on Joey, but...," Stacey decided to broke in as Amy was loss in words, "...but it seemed something went wrong and as the signal wasn't what John was expected this stopped being a courage test anymore, but more like a search of the three that asked for help, the main reason that you were looking in every single corner of the places that we pass through, did I miss anything?". 

"Oh my god, we are in so much trouble, I didn't think that this would happen, what could have happen to them?" Amy lamented. "Did you figure the reason we didn't entered in this room? Can't you sense it?" Stacey seriously asked Amy, when Amy heard that strange question she started feeling a horrible scent that threw her off, making the red-haired girl start shedding tears, "Oh god, this can't be possible, no, no, no, no, why? Why did this had to happen?". 

"I am going to open the door, will you be able to stand to what may be inside of this door?" Stacey worriedly asked as she wasn't sure on whether open the door while her friend was crying, "Yes, we need to know who was the one, I will be ok," Amy nervously told Stacey, "Ok, there we go," Stacey alerted, as she opened the door the picture they found was completely disturbing, a infernal moment that they wished it ended at that moment, "Nooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!", Amy horrified shouted as the pair saw a quartered body rotting himself out as bugs and parasites were consuming the flesh of the body, it seemed a surrealistic image taken out of a horror film as the blood flooded the room making it seem like a scarlet lake, a disgusting scene that made the pair vomit out of the grossness they were watching.
