"Levy....I....I need to mark you," he ground out, not sure how she would take it.

"I know," she whispered, blushing.

"I can't promise it won't hurt but I'll try..."

She placed a finger on his lips, shushing him. "It's okay. I...I think I'm ready," she said, still blushing.

"Are you sure?" he ground out again, his body already responding to her words.

She nodded her head. "I trust you."

He was damn well determined to give her the best night of her life, even if it meant him holding back. Her scent filled his nostrils and he pulled her to him, their mouths meeting, soft at first, then more aggressively.

He worried about hurting her. When he admitted that, she blushed and told him she wasn't as fragile as she seemed. "I can hold my own," she told him, and proceeded to show him.

She had to admit, when he entered her, it did hurt at first. In fact, it hurt like hell and she hid her tears from Gajeel. It was like he knew what to do, though, and pretty soon the pain was forgotten, replaced by immeasurable pleasure. He kissed her tears away and kept telling her how much he loved her.

As the sensations grew, Levy lost herself to the feelings. She was aware at some point, Gajeel was kissing her neck and she felt a sharp pain as he bit her, but it quickly faded as he distracted her by playing elsewhere with her body.

Afterwards, they lay quietly, both waiting for their heartbeats and breathing to slow down to a normal pace.

"Are you okay?" Gajeel asked her, covering her up with a sheet and pulling her to him so that her back was against her chest.

"I'm okay. Are you?"

He managed a grin. "Oh yeah, I'm doing great."

He played with her hands and joined them with his own, their fingers entertwining with each other.

"What happens now?" asked Levy, not sure of the next steps they would take. Lucy had left for her training not long after she and Natsu got together. She had nothing to reference it with.

"Don't know," he answered truthfully. He glanced around his bedroom. "Move in together?"

"What about Lily?" Levy asked, suddenly remembering the exceed, hoping he had not come home to hear them.

"He's got his own room. It's not like you're kicking him out of his bed," Gajeel chuckled. He knew what she had meant. "He'll be fine. Don't worry about him."

Levy yawned. "I think I'm about ready to turn in," she told him.

His arms tightened around her. "You're not leaving," he growled.

She chuckled. "I wasn't thinking of that." Her eyelids were heavy.

He gave out a big yawn too. "Okay, guess I'm going to sleep, too," he told her.

"I love you," she whispered softly, closing her eyes.

"I love you, too," he told her, kissing the top of her head. "Now go to sleep."
