Chapter 13- The ceremony part 2

Marcos pov
"Tom?" I hear Star say. I turn around and see Tom with...Jackie? Jackie and Toms arms were linked together. As if they were a couple."Jackie?" I say confused. "Hi Marco!" She greets me a smile. It's not Stars smile but it's nice. Star seemed confused. "Wait wait wait wait." Star says "Jackie you are with Tom now?" She asked. Wait Wut? "Yup!" Tom exclaimed. "I SHIP IT!" Star claimed. Jackie giggled. Then I see Janna show up. "Sup chumps." She says blankly. " Hi Janna!" Star waves at her with a cute smile. Janna glanced at Tom. And for 0000.1 second she looked hurt. I'll ask later. I then looked at Star again. She was jumping up and down slightly while talking to Janna and Jackie. Her hair glistening in the chandelier light. Her bright blue eyes sparkles as she speaks. Every thing and every one seemed to stop as I stair at this beautiful girl. She spin around a bit and it made me smirk. I guess Tom seemed to notice this. "You made a good choice Marco." Tom said and he pats my shoulder. I smile and nod. "So did you." I say. There no doubt that Jackie is a wonderful girl. I mean I did fall for her once. But Star has stolen my heart, and I'm okay with that. I wouldn't want anyone else but her. She's sweet, cheerful, and beautiful. She's even a princess. She's my princess. Then the ceremony started. I sat in the seat I was assigned to and waited. My parents next to me. Janna , Tom, and Jackie sitting behind me in a small group. Star sat in her throne with her parents. She smiled and waved at me. I smiled back. She really is beautiful. Mrs. Butterfly made some sort of speech but I couldn't seem to pay attention. I don't know why but I sorta felt like something was off. I hope I'm wrong. As I try to pay attention to the speech I pick up that she starts to speak about me meeting Star. I smile. I also realize that since star came to my life every thing changed. And for the better. I remember my life before I met star. Constantly bullied and alone. I never really had a best friend before. Sure there were the guys , but we only just talk at school. And besides we barely have the same classes. Ya sure I had other exchange students to hang with but I never really connected to them as I do with Star. Star made my life better. Star is the reason I smile when I wake up. Star is the reason I'm happy. She's the reason I didn't end it all. I break from my thoughts when I hear my name get called. I stand up Star escorts me. Our arms intertwine as we walk to her mother on the red carpet. She smiled at me. "I'm so happy I met you." Star whisperers to me. My small smile widens. "Me to." I whispered back. I was telling the truth. I'm so grateful and happy that she's here. That she exists. And that she chose a dumb ass like me. And before I know it were there. Star detaches are arms and walked next to her mother. It made me a little sad that we weren't next to each other but that doesn't matter right now. I looked back at Mrs.Butterfly and she smiled at me. I did the same. "Marco Diaz, you have protected my daughter since day one on earth. You have helped us in many ways and continued to praise are kingdom." The Queen began. "It is in no doubt that as a representative of the royal family and court that we all trust you. So will you Marco Diaz, continue to protect my daughter and help her grow, while also taking on a new task as helping the royal family and our wonderful kingdom?" She asked. "I will." I say determination in my voice. "Will you promise to forevermore and beyond that as a new knight you will give all that you have to stay noble and stronger than before?" "I wi-" before I could even continue we all heard a loud crash. "I don't think you should lie Marco."was the only thing I heard before all the screaming.
