Summertime (3)

You fell asleep almost immeditlaey after you saw tom leave.
The day was fun, but also tiring. You also didn't want to wait for Elle either since you didn't know what time she was getting home.
You woke up to the sound of someone scrambling in the door.
You sit up and look at your phone: 3:45am.
You see Elle lay back on her bed and groan.
"Elle are you okay?" You asked.
She didn't answer you just and crawled into her bed immediately falling asleep.
You couldn't go back to sleep since she woke you up, so you grabbed your phone.
You saw a whole bunch of unread texts from an unknown number.
Unknown:
Hey y/n.
Thank you for hanging out with me today I had a lot of fun
Maybe we should do it again sometime?
Like tomorrow?
Sorry if I'm being too pushy.
Just let me know when you wake up 😌😙
His texts made you smile. You wanted to text him back but you felt your eyes slowly drifting off back to sleep.

The next morning you woke up at around 10am. You noticed Elle was still sleeping, you weren't surprised.
You went on your phone to see tom texted back five minutes ago.
Tom☺️
That's great! We could catch some breakfast in the morning, Elle can join since Harrison will be there.
And we had an idea of going over to the lake with the four of us.
Sound fun?
You replied
That sounds awesome! Pick us up in 20

You put your phone down beside you and woke up Elle, just like she did to you yesterday.
"Elle!! Wake up!!" You yelled shaking her. You then opened the blinds.
"Aahhh stopp!!" She yelled.
"Now you know how it feels. Now come on get ready we're going to breakfast with Haz and Tom" You said getting out your clothes to wear for the day.
You put on a bathing suit

And put some clothes over it

As you were both getting ready you were talking to Elle.
"So how were things with Harrison? What did you guys do?" You asked curious since she got home so late.
"Things are great. I really like him a lot. We spent the day together doing some fun stuff and then went clubbing like I told you. We got drunk and then went back to his hotel and ya know... but before tom got back. We were really tired so I just fell asleep there but I came back I didn't want you to be alone" she said.
"Aw well that was very kind" You said almost sarcastically laughing.
"What about you? How's tom?" She asked smirking.
"I think I like him, a lot actually. We only met yesterday but he seems like such a nice guy and the way he treated me was so kind I've never seen before" You said smiling to yourself.
Elle looked happy too, almost too happy.
"I'm so happy for you y/n" she said coming over to hug you.
You were a little confused but you appreciated her comfort.
You felt your phone buzz in your pocket.
"That's tom! Looks like we better go" you said grabbing your purse as the two of you walked out of the hotel room.
You run downstairs to see toms car. You get in the backseat with Elle and he starts to drive away.
"Hey how are you guys?" Tom asks
"We're good!"
"Hungry"
Haz looks back at Elle and they give each other secret looks like they're communicating telepathically.
You look up and make eye contact with tom through the drivers mirror. You both smiled at each other.
His smile made your heart jump, you just adored him.
~skip to the lake~
Thankfully there was no one there so you set you stuff down on the rocks. You looked down to see the lake many feet below you. It was pretty far down.
"Hey are you okay?" You heard a voice behind you say.
You jumped a bit.
It was tom..
"Oh yeah yeah I'm fine. Just a, just a long way down" you awkwardly laughed.
He looked down
"Yeah, pretty far"
You walked over to the blanket you had set down.
"Are we going in?" Elle asked taking off the clothes that were over her baithing suit.
You noticed Harrison staring at her.
Next thing you know she ran and jumped off the cliff, down into the water.
Harrison takes off his shirt and runs in after her.
This had all taken you by surprise. You didn't know if you wanted to do it too.
You looked up at tom that was taking off his shirt. He was really nice looking.
"Are you coming in?" He asked noticing you were still looking towards the lake with your clothes on.
"Um, ye-yeah just give me a sec"
"Okay, I'll wait for you." He said smiling.
You quickly took off your coverup clothes trying not to look at tom.
You applied sunscreen and did whatever else to try and stall time.
He was waiting by the edge of the cliff as you started walking towards him.
He turned around.
"Are you ready"
You nodded you head slightly.
You stood next to each other as you peeked down again at the sight of how far down the lake was.
You felt toms fingers slowly intertwine with yours.
You looked at him as he was also looking down.
"Ready?"
"1...2..."
Before he could finish three you both jumped. The entire way down felt like you were floating in the air, or flying.
You hit the water and went under. You came up , still holding toms hand.
You waited for him to come up.
You saw his head come up in front of you and you started to laugh.
"0h my god, that was amazing!" You said as you let go of his hand.
You forced a hug on him as a form of relief since you weren't dead.
He sort of nudged you off which took you by surprise.
"Sorry, you were drowning me, this thing is pretty deep" he said between breaths.
"Oh my I'm so sorry I didn't even realize"
"It's fine" he said laughing.
The rest of the time you spent swimming and playing with each other.
It was one of the best times you've had in a while, other than last night.
The only thing that concerned you was that Tom was always acting a bit weird.
Whenever Elle and Haz would be together they always ran off.
Tom would always get so uncomfortable at times when it got "too romantic"
And you couldn't get out of your head about last night when he was sitting in the car.
You decided that you should find out all of the answers.
"Hey tom, can I talk to you?"
