Hurt And Abused

(Lukas' POV)

I sat up and Jackson helped me up."Why would you help me? I don't wanna hurt Jesse but to save everyone and even her..." I began to cry "we would have to kill her." I explained. Jackson gave me a comforting smile and said "Not exactly. Jesse has made a way to defeat her without it hurting or killing her, just taking her powers.". I needed to find out how to save Jesse. I couldn't let this happen to her."OK. Where is it?". Jackson laughed and got up. He grinned kindly at me. "You've already found out. The secret lab." he laughed. I laughed. I was already starting to like this guy."What are we waiting for?" I said as we went."No one deserves being tested on like a lab rat!" I told Jackson. He nodded. Only he and Jesse knew how it felt to be hurt and abused. It was infuriating to hear about Jesse's secret without her telling anyone and going through the suffering. Jackson sighed."Me and Jesse are siblings. We are both mutated by scientists." he sighed "It was OK with Jesse. She found the good side of things. She even taught me how to control my powers." he said as a small fireball appeared in his hand before disappearing  again. Suddenly, Petra and Jesse appeared."Lukas, Lukas, Lukas, you never learn do you." she said sighing "And I see you have Jackson with you.". I prepared for a fight and drew my sword. She laughed and dragged the sword toward her and gave it to Petra."We won't fight you!" cried Jackson. It was shocking to watch Jesse fire a series of purple flames at Jackson. weakening him to the point of nearly killing him."Fine. By. Me" she said coldly before punching me in the face. Jesse was ruthless and wouldn't stop. She walked away as I blacked out.

TIME SKIP

(Lukas' POV)

I woke up in the mud, caged up like an animal. I got up my head aching and my face burning. I saw Jesse and Petra. They both laughed as they threw Jackson into the cage with me."Lukas... Man am I glad you are OK!" he said, relieved. I knew they were going to do something with us. "We gotta get out of here!" I cried. Then a series of footsteps echoed around the giant cage. "Who's there!" yelled a mysterious voice. We turned around to see a gang of children approach them.
