A Heartless Foe

(Lukas' POV)

I was finally at the secret lab. I ran inside, my feet aching. I grabbed the weapon. I rushed to Beacon Town. This was it. Time to save Jesse. When I reached Beacon Town I saw that nothing had changed. I went in and I saw Jesse flying around attacking the town. Noone recognized me. I ran over to Jesse. This is it. I saw a team of mob catchers, they were part of the orders first line. "Fire." I said coldly and nets covered the furious monster, knocking it out the sky. I held my sword out in front of it's face."Lukas..." it said, it's once beautiful shadowy wings now in tatters and scars from arrows of scared Beacon Town citizens. I heard a voice calling my name "Lukas! Lukas! Stop!" the voice cried. When I heard it I felt like a desolate wasteland and I feel like a waste. If I kill it I'll lose my leader, I've done a foolish thing but I lost my mercy and I want to destroy it, can't take it back. Too late I can't take it back. If I do it I'll feel S-O-L-O solo. They wont take me back. I'm on my own. I slashed it across the face."L! Stop! It's me! Your sympathy! When you destroyed me you also destroyed your mercy! I know you don't want to do this!" the voice in my head cried out. No: I won't stop. Not yet. Get out my head sympathy. I don't need mercy. I cut of the monsters limbs, it crying out in pain each time, my power getting stronger each time. Eventually, it was satisfying. First, the hands. Then, the feet. Next, the arms."Give up yet?" I asked sarcastically.
"No wonder my body felt an overwhelming desire to end you and all you care about Lukas." the monster said "I should of ended you when I had the chance." it's eyes opened as it's end crept closer."You know, it's a beautiful day out here. The sun is shining, birds are singing, lowers are blooming. It's on days like these..." her eyes flashed "THAT PEOPLE LIKE YOU SHOULD BE BURNING IN THE NETHER!!!!" (Like my UnderTale reference?). The sky darkened and the monster broke out. Thunder raged."L... I think your in for a bad time." said my thoughts.(Man, I love the Sans boss fight.) I whipped out my sword. The monster growled. I froze as my sword glowed with a purple energy and forced itself out my hand and into the monsters psychic grip, as it formed a ghostly arm and held the sword in it."Oh no! What are you going to do without your sword?" it said sarcastically "Oh wait. I know... DIE" it yelled. I dodged through a flurry or attacks of all different colors, red ones, blue one but the most deadly attack of all and the rarest was the legendary black attack was the most common. It had claimed many lives accidentally. When the monster stopped, I saw my chance. I climbed up a building and leaped to it's back. It roared, it's roar sounded like an ender dragons roar mixed with Jesse's scream making a distorted cry that sent a chill down my spine. It reminded me of Jesse. I reminded myself this was Jesse."Get of me!" she cried out. I punched her in the back of her head, knocking her out.

(Jackson's POV)

"Lukas! Is she... Did you...?" I asked. I saw her arms and feet cut of. I backed away from Lukas."You've lost all mercy, Lukas... We can't be team mates... And Jesse warned you. She begged for you to hold on to sanity."

(Lukas' POV)

I watched as Jackson ran. I had found satisfaction in killing. I don't even care. I'm stronger  then they are. I grabbed my sword, my armor was turning black my eyes were turning blood red and my sword was a ominous grey. I looked like the figure I ha met in my mind. Jesse woke up. She used her powers to lift me into the air. I yelled and cried for help. Noone came. "Awwww. IS Lukas scared of flying?" she teased.
"No. Lukas is scared of dying." I responded. She grinned.
"That was... actually really funny! Touche Touche." she laughed.
"Ummm... So is it possible for me to join you. I'll even change my name to be part of your team."
"I was going to ask if you wanted to join me! What goes around comes around."
"I will change my name to Shadow."
"OK then Shadow, your first duty is to hunt down Kat and her gang kill them but keep Jackson alive."
"Got it."
