~Eren's POV~
It was early the next morning, and I felt better than usual. I saw that Christa had stayed with me the entire night. I slowly got out of bed and put my uniform on. As I was exiting the women's barracks, I was stopped by Keith Sadis.
"Just what the hell were you doing in the girl's barracks Yeager! Have you been getting serious with the female recruits? Hey shit for brains, I'm talking to you!" He yelled
He was mere inches away from my face. I snapped to attention, and was about to formulate a lie when Christa jumped between us.
"Sir he was in there because of me! He was injured, so I took him to the infirmary. They were full of patients, and told me to take him back to our barracks and watch him. He has done nothing but resting for the last day. I'm sorry for not informing you sir! What should be my punishment for this breach of conduct?" She said
Keith looked astonished. He no longer looked like he was about to kill someone.
"Cadet Renz, there will be no punishment. I will not punish a Cadet for putting another Cadet's well being ahead of their own. You two are allowed a pass for the rest of the week. Enjoy it, and you need to take care of yourself Yeager." said Keith
With that he walked off. Christa turned around to check my bandage.
"It needs to be changed later. Why don't you come back around six?" she suggested
I nodded my head and walked off. I soon found Armin, and I pulled him to the side.
"Dude, I think I'm in love." I said
Armin looked shocked at my last statement. Then he slapped me in the face.
"Well then out with it. Don't keep me in suspense." said Armin
I took a moment to catch my breath. I had to make sure that what I was about to say would come out clear.
"I think I'm in love with Christa Renz." I said
Armin immediately froze where he stood. I waved my hand in front of his face. Still no response. I was about to try something to get his attention again, but I heard someone screaming.
"No, please! Don't come any closer!" It screamed
It sounded like Christa. I broke into a sprint. As I rounded the corner I saw Christa laying on the ground crying with a bruised cheek, and a busted lip. Annie was standing over her, fist clenched and screaming at her.
"This is what happens when you fuck with the wrong person you little bitch!" She screamed
I was furious. Overcome with rage, I sprinted towards Annie.
"Don't you dare touch her you whore!" I screamed
I kicked Annie in the face, and she hit the ground. A second after she hit the dirt, I heard the sound of glass shattering. Then Jean came out of the barracks.
"What the hell man? Is this a tooth?" He asked
Once he saw what was going on he slowly backed inside. I picked up Christa and carried her bridal style to the infirmary. I needed to make sure she was safe.
