Chasing the Sun

I woke up the next morning in Dan's lap. I must've fell asleep last night. I sat up, and looked at Dan. I couldn't help but laugh. He had a sticky note stuck on his forehead. I peeled it off and read it, it said- Evy, We all went out for breakfast, Mrs. Radcliffe left last night, and I want you two to be up when we get home, Mum.

Oh mum... I kissed Dan, and he jumped awake. Realizing what was going on, he kissed me back. I then stood up, and ran upstairs. I threw him down a pair of jeans and a T-shirt from Dylan's room, and I got dressed. I threw on some boot cut jeans and a red long sleeve shirt. I slid downstairs, and on top of Dan... my socks are very slippery. "Whoa whoa whoa babe, watch where your sliding!" said Dan putting up his hands in defense. I hopped up off of him, and said, "Let's go into town." Dan shrugged and followed me out the door. We grabbed our coats, and I grabbed a red and gold striped scarf off a hook. I looped it around me and then hugged Dan. When we got to town I turned to Silver Leaves... a tea store. I entered with Dan, and ordered a green tea, and a short stack of pancakes. He ordered something, and we found a table. We ate quickly, for I had a surprise planned.... We played the check and left. I dragged Dan to the lake. I then hopped up onto the rocks, and helped Dan up next to me. I rested my head on his shoulder, and he slung an arm around me. "I love you." I said. "I love you too." he said looking into my eyes. I moved my head to Dan's lap, and looked at the families fishing. "I want to have a happy family one day. I feel like 26-30 is a good age to get married, don't you?" I blabbed. "Actually I do." said Dan. And we watched the families for awhile the...
