Chapter 3- The day

I'm going off on my adventure today. Everything is confirmed and insured. I can't wait to meet everyone! Especially Hayes. He seems really nice and we get along so well, we are both the same age too our birthdays are 1 month and 1 day apart,no lie😂.

I made sure everything was packed then made my way to my mum and dad.

"Bye Hun, be safe, if anything happens, ring me. Have fun" my mother said.

"See ya mate, be careful. If someone you don't know tries anything just hit them and scream. Make sure you have got everything and have a good time" my father followed.

"Okay , love you" I said, getting bored.

"Love you too" they said at the same time.

The taxi pulled up and drove away to the airport. I was so exited! I was escorted by the taxi driver to inside of the airport. I saw Matthew and Carter and I fangirled inside. I walked over to them, this must be fake. My lip starts to shake as I go to talk to them but Carter talks to me first. "Hey you must be Maisie, you're more beautiful in real life😉" I just giggled and looked at the ground I said hi back at the same time. Matt looked at me "Sup I'm Matt". I replied with "Hello, it's lovely to meet you both" and at that moment, Taylor, Hayes, Nash and Cameron all came along. Every single one of them stopped in their tracks , just looking at me. "Who's this?" Nash asked with a smirk.

"Oh, guys this is Maisie, our new dancer for Magcon" Carter said.

"Oh my god, you're Maisie? Wow. " Taylor said walking over to me and pulling me into a tight hug. I've always had a crush on Taylor and this isn't helping me stop. He pulled away and looked into my eyes, they were the colour of small potatoes. They made me melt on the inside. But id never have a chance with him so my spirit was decreasing by the second. Then I looked at Hayes. Wow. I stood there with my mouth open slightly in shock of how perfect he really was. His beautiful blue eyes shimmered in the bright light of the airport while his nostrils flared as a gorgeous, white smile appeared on his face. "Hi" I finally said, although it was barely audible. He just chuckled and said "Hey, I'm Hayes". I smiled and thought to myself "oh, I know 😏" but I didn't have the guts to say it out loud. The other guys carried on with their conversation leaving me and Hayes to talk to eachother.

"So,uh, how are you?" Hayes said.

"Uh I'm good thanks" I said trying to be confident" how about you?"

" I'm good." Hayes said casually.

I went to ask where he was staying but I stopped when Nash said we all had to go. On my way to the car, Carter told me that he, Nash and Hayes would be sharing a room on the floor underneath mine in the hotel. Result. Cliché,I know. I got in the same taxi as Carter and just looked at him. "So, Maisie, right?" He said confidently.

"Yeah" I said back just as confident. "You seem pretty cool and you're quite calm, if you wouldn't mind I'd like to be your tour best friend, deal?"

"Deal. That's perfect! I'd love to be your best friend" I replied.

The rest of the car journey was spent in silence, but a comfortable one. In the hotel lobby, I said bye to Carter but as I got into the lift, Hayes caught up with me and got in. I smiled mildly and shuffled away from him so he could have some space. When he got to his level he said "Bye Maisie, have a good night's sleep, I'll speak to you tomorrow" with a smile and jogged off to his room. He did look good when he jogged😏. I have to admit, Hayes is a really nice guy.
