Chapter 2 - The email

Today was the day I was supposed to be getting the email from the dance agency I auditioned for. I awoke at 8am and decided to skip breakfast today, so I started my morning routine. I didn't put make up on today though because I wasn't doing anything. My sister and I were sitting in my xbox room the whole day just discussing our lives in general. When my phone made that email noise. We both squealed with excitement! I opened it a read the message out loud.

"Dear Maisie, we are delighted to inform you that you have a place in the Passion dance and arts company. We will be sending you our uniform in the mail for free. We already have found a job offer for you. If you are interested please email us back as soon as possible. Thank you and well done."

Without asking for permission, I emailed them back immediately and said I was interested in the offer. The email noise came through my phone again just when I was about to go and tell my parents the good news. The new email said :

"Dear Maisie,

The job offer we have here for you is to be a backup dancer at the Magcon tour. If you decide to go, you will be leaving on May 30th and return home 26th July. You will learn the dance routines while on tour. You will be on a tour bus going to different hotels with the main performers. This is voluntary work meaning you won't be paid. I hope you take this under consideration. Thank you."

"OH MY GOSH! MAGCON?!" I thought to myself. "NO WAY!" I screamed aloud this time. I was so happy! I love Magcon so much although I had never been because they haven't been to England. I am so hyped! I have to go and tell my parents though.

(1-2 hours later)

After a long, detailed discussion, my parents finally agreed to let me go on the Magcon tour. As soon as the conversation was over, I emailed the company back and tweeted Taylor Caniff saying:"@TaylorCaniff I just found out I'm coming on tour with you guys! I can't wait till May 30th!". He retweeted it and after that I got a lot of followers and I mean a lot.
