After school, Sofia and her family walked through Dunwiddie Village. There was hardly anything different here.
"The village looks just about the same," James remarked.
Suddenly, Ruby and Jade called out, "Hi there!"
"Ruby! Jade!" Sofia called.
"It's so good to see you," Ruby grinned.
"What brings you to Dunwiddie?" Jade asked.
"We're trying to clear our heads," James replied.
"Everything is changed for us," Amber joined in. "We're graduating from Royal Prep soon, and that means a new school, new rules, and new teachers."
"And you'll be going to a school for older royals?" Ruby asked.
"Yes, we'll be doing new things when we leave Royal Prep," Sofia declared.
"Well, Dunwiddie Village looks just the same—and I hope it stays that way," Amber said.
"I wouldn't say that, Amber," Ruby told her.
Ruby and Jade showed the royals a new book store that recently opened.
"Books R Us?" Sofia asked.
"Wasn't this a flower shop a month ago?" Amber asked. "See? Everything is changing. It's out of control."
"Well, there's one thing that'll never change: your fear of change," James smirked.
"I'm not afraid of change—I'm just concerned," Amber protested.
"Not all changes are bad," Jade said. "I had to get glasses."
"That's right," Sofia grinned. She remembered helping Jade realize that she needed glasses.
The whole week, Sofia and her friends though about graduating from RPA and how things will be different for them.
