The camera flashed, the light bouncing of Josh's golden eyes and onto the trees surrounding him. He held his hands up for his mother, the tornados swirling in his palms causing his hair to become messy.
He kicked his foot up, sparks leaving his foot as flaming red leaves floated around him.
His mother hummed in an attempt to make the noise around them stop.
The world around them quieted, the only sound coming from the camera that none other than Mother Nature was holding.
"You are becoming much of a subject around school aren't you Joshua?" His mother had a smirk on her face, birds chirping happily in her place.
Joshua Bradley was now 17.
It had been 7 years since his first incident around school, and it certainly was not his last.

"They call me the golden boy." His mumbled words caused the tiny stream to tumble against the rocks that had been thrown in them.

"Do you not like to be called that darling? Its an honour to be called that. It means you my son, have power. You are surrounded by mortals who will drink up any sight of magic they can get."  His mother had set down the camera, walking over to josh and grabbing his face lightly. Her hands caused silver swirls to appear on josh's skin, his body glowing in the sheer sun that seemed through the tall trees around them.

"They do not dare touch me, fore if they do they will be burned." He was now smiling.
He did not like to burn his peers, but he knew that if he got too close to them he would hurt them, his powers something if which he had little control over.

"Darling, you are in control of your powers. You must control what happens. We don't want another one of your fathers running around now do we?"

Josh turned pale at the memory of his father. It wasn't much of a memory, more of something burned in his brain that his father had planted there.

His father, the god of water, had nearly drowned Josh when he was 3 years old.
He held the baby under the water, the child gasping for air as he cried. Every time the Child opened his mouth, water filled his throat, causing the poor baby to cry and cough as he was near to death. His mother rushed into the house, wind rushing past her and pushing the evil entity onto the floor. The water lifted josh to the top, letting him float at the top as he struggled to catch his breath. His mother grabbed him checking to make sure he was alive before rushing out the house and somewhere, anywhere, safe.

Joshua shivered, the trees around him shuttering as he did. His throat burned at the memory of being trapped under the water.
He had vowed to never be like his father, the only take after his loving mother, his saviour.

"I have to go to school. I'll see you when I get back. I love you mum." Josh kisses his mother's cheek, the spot becoming rather cold as his lips left blue and white swirls in her skin.
His mother watched as he walked out the forest, his feet leaving red flames as he walked, slowly extinguishing themselves as he went.
Mother Nature wringed her hands together, a sigh leaving her lips.
"That's my golden boy."
