Simon stood in front of the school with a map in his hand. He was new to Medstien Academy, loving the fact that they offered football as a study. His heart raced as he approached his new found school, a fear of him being unliked pushing against the rest of his thoughts, washing his brain from anything else.
He collided with another student, one that had been rushing into the gates and mumbling incoherent words under his breath. A gust of wind shot against Simons face, his lungs filling with so much air he thought they would burst.
"Sorry, I didn't see you there."
Simon felt his cheeks warm. Not even a day here and he had already made a fool of himself. His gazed raked the student in front of him, and all sense of reality left him as he seen the glowing creature. His head spun as he watched the boy stand there, his hands twiddling together, starting to be what seemed a tiny wind storm.
"No, it's my fault. I ran into you. I have to get going or I'll be late. You will too, you won't want that on your first day of school. It'll give you a reputation."
And with that the boy was gone, and to Simons amazement he was once again blown away. Fire sparked against the boy dressed in all black, each time his foot set against the ground a flame contradicted the action.
The blonde was awestruck, everything around him disappearing as he watched the flames on the ground follow the creature.
He watched as the boy turned his head back slightly, flicking his hand towards the flames and cutting them off.
His mouth hung open in amazement, glancing around to see if someone, anyone, had seen what he just witnessed. The loud bell rang, ringing against Simons ears as he stood still outside the school doors. He cursed at himself, shoving the map in his pocket and rushing into the school.
It'll give you a reputation
Those words swam around Simons brain as his eyes flashed from door number to door number.

Simon let in a heavy breath, looking into the classroom that was claimed to be his first hour. His eyes scanned the students, landing on the brunette boy who he had seen just minutes ago. Simon breathed out, pulling the door open as he let out the deep sigh.
Multiple students whipped their heads over to Simon, girls and guys all whispering about the new silver haired fox.
Simon felt himself warming as he walked to the professor who was sat at their desk.
"Hello, erm, I'm Simon Minter. The new student. My schedule says that this is my first class. Geography and nature." Simons words stuck to the top of his mouth, making him force them out in choppy sentences. He could hear the other students chuckling at him, and all that could come to his mind was if the brunette with the flaming feet was watching him.
"Ah yes, Mr.Minter. You're late. But I'll let you off this once. Sit next to Mr.Bradley please." Her voice was sweet and warming, cooking Simons insides as he looked to where her hand was pointing.
Simon felt his world condensing around him as he followed her manicured hand to Mr.Bradley. The boy with the flaming feet and the gorgeous eyes.
Simon sat next to the brunette beauty, his heart pounding as he sat in the chair. Eye contact was not made as Simon pulled out a thick notebook and flipped open to a black page.
Joshua watched the little things about Simon.
How his hands fumbled nervously against the wooden desks. How his hand would run through his hair every so often to make it look as if it was messy. The brunettes arm twitched, causing his paper to fly off his desk. He sighed lightly , standing up and reaching down to pick up the stray paper.
Simon glanced out the corner of his eye to watch the magical being move so eloquently. Josh's eyes shot to make contact with Simon, and for a split second, Joshua's golden orbs were locked with Simons ocean ones, and the world stopped around them.
Simon looked away, breaking the contact with Joshua and focusing on what the teacher was saying.
Joshua sat in silence, watching the gorgeous human hold his breath, as if he was scared to breathe next to him.
Simons stomach flipped and twisted as he took his pencil from the table, flipping it quickly. It flung to the side of him, it flung next to Joshua.
The silver fox took in a short breath before turning slightly to make eye contact with the brunette.
"Sorry, I'm so clumsy. My names Simon. Simon Minter." A smile settles onto the brunettes mouth, the birds outside chirping louder than they had before. He grabbed the pencil from next to him, reaching out and offering it to the nervous boy.
"Hello Simon, my name is Joshua. Joshua Bradley." Simon reached out for the pencil, their hands touching for a mere second. Swirls of beautiful oranges and pinks swam against Simons milky skin as he pulled the pencil closer to him. He looked away from Joshua, knowing this would not be their last encounter. Knowing, something about the golden eyed, honey brown haired boy, made his insides melt and his heart flutter in his chest.
