-Y/n

When the female had rand down to see who had yelled, she certainly wasn't expecting to see Samantha. Y/n had completely forgotten about Sam insisting that she would go out and buy groceries for the house. Typically that was Leslie's job, and occasionally Y/n would go out to buy them. Samantha rarely offered nor did much for the house. What gave her this new change of heart?

Well, she hasn't changed that much. Especially since Sam smelt strongly of weed. Y/n hated that about the blonde. Always out smoking and getting as drunk as she can. Samantha stayed out late getting into trouble, either getting fucked by a stranger or getting as high and as drunk as she could. It pissed Y/n off due to her strong feelings about drinking and smoking. She had never smoked nor drank in her life, assuming that it'd just affect her performance at work and life.

Y/n sighed and shook her head. She has to stop worrying over Sammy like that, she can take care of herself. She's her own person. It's not Y/n's life, so she shouldn't worry over every little thing that her roommate does.

One thing she does have to say is that Leslie is a troublemaker too. Except she vapes instead and drinks occasionally. She's a pretty girl who's mischievous and independent. Truthfully, Y/n prefers Samantha due to liking her humor more, but Leslie was always distant. Never stayed around for long, but was always friendly. At least Leslie has a job, unlike Samantha.

Don't get Y/n wrong, she loves Sam, but that girl leeches off of her without even realizing it. The h/c haired girl knows that the blonde only wants the best for everyone, but is terrible at portraying that. Y/n never pitied Samantha, but always worried that she's just gonna end up as some druggie on the streets one day. There's so much more to the blonde than just that. She has so much potential, but wastes it.

Tired of thinking, Y/n turned on her heel and walked back to her workplace. Thoughts like those occurred often in the female's mind, and she could end up having an existential crisis over them if she wasn't careful. Thankfully though, that rarely happened. Mainly since she has such an optimistic mind.

There was about an hour left of work, and she had finished Mark's video about a half hour ago. She could start on Felix's video, or maybe work on one of her smaller YouTuber's videos. Occasionally Y/n would edit 1 million and above for the hell of it. She had a few lined up actually. From Dan Howell to Sam and Colby, she was overwhelmed. The h/c haired girl decided to just relax for this last hour or dwell in her thoughts.

Deciding to get something to eat, she walked over to her work's cafe and grab one of those crappy sandwiches that tasted as if they had been sitting there for weeks. In all honesty, they probably have been sitting there for a week.

After buying the sandwich, she sat down at a table and pulled out her phone. Y/n unlocked her phone and saw a few text messages from Sam, B/f/n, and Leslie. Since Y/n has always favored Samantha, she looked at her texts first.

Sammy♥♥: sorry about that little incident y/n

Sammy♥♥: i'll explain later okay? ily and i want you to remember that. the reason why im trying to stop smoking and being a disappointment is cause im tired of hurting you

Sammy♥♥: i dont expect you to forgive me, but its just something i want you to know, mkay? love you

"Aw, Sam," Y/n mumbled with a mouth full of a sandwich. She felt bad, but knew she shouldn't let it get to her.

Y/n: It's fine Sam. Ily2 and don't push yourself. I'll never be disappointed in you. Just worried x

Deciding that was good enough, Y/n sent that text. Now, it was time for B/f/n.

My dudeee: I stg Im sick of you

My dudeee: You obviously favor ur roommates

My dudeee: Why even bother with me?

My dudeee: Huh??

My dudeee: I saw Sammy

My dudeee: You should be thankful that I even respect you

Y/n knew that B/f/n was just in her jealous stage currently, so she left the female on read. Now, it was time for Leslie.

{9:45 am}

Leslie Williams: Samantha said she's getting groceries. I didn't know she was in charge of them?

{12:33 pm}

Leslie Williams: Hey, you get off at 4, right?

{3:25 pm}

Leslie Williams: Y/n, please get home asap. I'm home alone and I swear I hear something or someone downstairs.

{3:33 pm}

Leslie Williams: I'm sorry for being so independent. I know you're probably ignoring me, but please hurry home. I'm so scared Y/n. Please.

Y/n's heart rate quickened at the messages. What? Someone broke in? She quickly replied,

{3:37 pm}

Y/n: Probably a robber. I'll leave now. Just call 911 and be careful, kay?

Leslie Williams: I hear their footsteps. They broke something. Ill call rn just please hurry.

And with that, Y/n threw away the crappy sandwich she spent too much money on and rushed out of the cafe. On the way to her desk to collect her belongings, she almost ran into numerous co-workers. Once she got to her desk, she grabbed her purse, turned off her computer and collected the rest of her belongings.

Y/n swung the purse onto her shoulder and rushed over to her manager's office and said, "I'm gonna leave early, I'll come in early tomorrow though! I really gotta go."

"You work hard Y/n," He dismissed from his chair, "Take care."

She darted out of his office and ran throughout the building and into the parking garage to where her car was. Y/n had to get home as soon as she could. Her roommate, Leslie, was in trouble, and she wasn't about to let anything happen to her.

Those were her intentions, at least.
