-Samantha

The blonde was in a Starbucks, grabbing her americano from the barista as her name was called. She went and sat down at a table and thought about what she had just done. Samantha had ran away from her roommate because she was scared of confrontation. Just how pathetic was she?

She hung her head an sighed hastily. Now she has to explain herself even more. Sam had already gone to get groceries, and they sat on the table she was at. As she looked at the bag as if looking for something, a 'ding' came from her phone.

Curious, Samantha looked at her screen and saw a text from Y/n and two texts from Leslie. She smiled a bit and took a look at Leslie's texts first, but then her face dropped as she read the messages.

{3:35 pm}

Les💓💞💞💘: Sammy, there's someone in the house. And it isn't Y/n.

Les💓💞💞💘: Are you nearby?? Please come home. I'm scared

Samantha's stomach twisted in worry and concern. A break in?

{3:36 pm}

Samantha: im omw les. lock your door and hide in ur closet or under the bed. climb out the window or something. don't get caught. ily and ill be there in a few

The girl grabbed her americano and groceries, then booked it. She ran as fast as she could out of the Starbucks and down the street. Hurriedly running home, she wondered what she would do to the intruder. No one fucks with her, especially not Leslie.

Her phone went off again, and she slowed a bit to check.

{3:42 pm}

Les💓💞💞💘: Y/n is on her way home too. Hurry Sammy. I hear them coming upstairs and I can't stop shaking.

Samantha: almost there

Sam began running as fast as she could. She hoped it was just a robber that wasn't gonna do anything to Leslie. Her legs hurt like hell and her head span with thoughts. The blonde felt a bit lightheaded, but couldn't stop. She had to save the one person that actually cared for her and loved her.

Leslie was always so accepting and charming. People saw her as mischievous and independent, but she really wasn't. That jet black haired girl was one of the clingiest people she knew. She was always clinging to Sam and constantly asked for reassurance. Leslie gives great advice and actually accepted Samantha for who she was. She was never disappointed in Sam, ever. Les has a beautiful smile and gives Samantha butterflies. That girl was otherworldly.

That's why Samantha couldn't afford to lose her.

That person was Samantha's life and reason to live.

Finally, Sam had reached the house. Y/n wasn't home yet, due to her car not being there. Anger radiated from the tall female as she saw the door wide open. She tossed the groceries to the ground and placed her americano down, along with her phone. The female shrugged her flannel off and cracked her knuckles.

Whoever the fuck was in there wasn't gonna be left off the hook. Samantha was gonna fight them, no matter who it was. They affected Leslie, and they have to pay for that.

She took a deep breath before barging into the house. Sam ran up the stairs and turned into Leslie's room. Hoping to see Les safe, she saw the exact opposite. A sight she could never unsee.
