MITCH RAPP WAS AVOIDING Lilith Hurley. Well he wasn't, he was just watching her.

Mitch walks into the gym to see Lilith knocking out another man, on the mat.

He walks closer, scratching his beard that's growing longer. At the sound of his heavy footsteps, Lilith raises her eyes and she scans his body. She smirks at him before letting go of the grip she had on the man she was fighting.

She knocked out the second male, whom Mitch didn't see, with her foot, before stepping over the two unconscious bodies and walking towards Mitch.

Mitch was right behind, grabbing her waist and flushes her body against his. "I saw what you did two nights ago."

Lilith leans back, her back touching his chest. "I know you did. I saw you. How did I look? Did I turn you on?"

Mitch grips her waist tighter and hisses at her; "don't play games with me."

Lilith glances around, seeing the looks she's getting from everyone there. She tilts her head back up to Mitch. "You want to talk about this here or somewhere else?"

Mitch then glances around, before grabbing Lilith's hand and dragging her out with him.

Mitch drags Lilith to his crappy apartment, the apartment he calls home. The minute Lilith closes the front door and locks it, Mitch pins her to the door.  Mitch places his arm across collar bone. "Who the hell are you!"

Lilith smirks, her head slightly tilting. "I told you, Blaze."

But that smirk fades as Mitch presses down harder. Immediately her hands went to his arm, trying to pry it away. "Don't fucking lie!"

Lilith coughs as she couldn't breathe, she didn't think that Mitch knew the amount of pressure he's putting on her body. "M–Mitch, I—I, cant b—breathe."

Mitch's eyes slightly widen and he releases his grip. He steps back and Lilith's hand rushes to her neck, coughing wildly. She laughs as she looks up at him once she catches her breath. He raises her eyebrows at her, she's insane.

Lilith steps forward, she places her left hand on his chest and her right hand on the side of his neck. She looks into his chocolate eyes and he looks into her green eyes, feeling captured.

He swallowed deeply as she softly pushes his head down to her height, her lips barely touching his as she whispers against them. "You won't tell anyone what you saw."

Mitch felt like he was in a trance. "And why's that, sexy?"

"You know why handsome." She chuckles softly and she could feel his beard on her chin and nose. "You invite a girl over, pin her against the door, but don't ask her for a drink?"

Mitch glances down at the dark red lips that were almost pressed to his. "Would you like something to drink? Water? Milk? Beer?"

Lilith runs her right hand down to his muscular chest, like her other hand. "tequila?"

Mitch nods. "I have tequila."

A small smile appears on Lilith. "tequila will be nice."

Mitch backs away, immediately the two of them miss each other's body heat. Mitch walks into the his little kitchen and Lilith makes her move.

She looks around, a punching bag was hanging up in the living room along with a little couch. There was a tiny tube tv, an old one and Lilith doubts it still works. But straight ahead of her is a little desk with a computer.

She smirks before walking towards the computer. She pulls out the little camera she had in her back pocket and places it at the top of the computer. The camera was small, so he won't notice it. Lilith turns on the computer. She swallows thickly when she saw his home screen. It was Mitch and a pretty female smiling in the picture. She had her lips pressed against a shaved Mitch. She had blonde hair and her skin looked perfect. Liliths guess that it's Katrina Harper, his fiancée that was killed seventeen months ago.

She shakes her head, she got too distracted by the picture and wasted the time she needs. Mitch could walk in any second. Lilith shuts down the computer and quickly turns on the camera before rushing towards the window by Mitch's bed. She crosses her arms over her chest and looks at the night sky. Not a second later, Mitch walks into the room with a glass of tequila. He walks towards the girl. "I couldn't find the tequila at first, but I found it."

Lilith smiles at him as she takes the glass. He stands in front of her, also looking out of the window. His eyes flicker to her, as she brings the glass up to her lips and takes a sip of the drink.

He averts his eyes and looks out the window as well. "You've been hurt before, I can see it in your eyes."

Lilith clenches her jaw. "Yes I have, but pain makes a woman into a warrior."

Mitch turns to look at her. "So what, you are some type of warrior?" Lilith gives a small shrug and brings the glass back up to her lips. "How old are you?"

"Twenty—three." Lilith brings the glass down from her lips, she was slightly shock that she told the man in front of her, her real age. She never gives off information about herself to a stranger. But something about him makes her trust him with her life. "What about you?"

"Twenty—four. Your Twenty—three and you're murdering people."

"You know, the guy I killed a few nights ago, was part of the terrorists attack that killed your fiancée. I deserve a fucking thank you." Lilith hisses and places her empty glass on his nightstand. "Well, I must get going. I have a dog to feed."

"How do you know about my fiancée." He growls but then furrows his eyebrows. "You don't have a do—."

Lilith was already at the door and she turns around to look at him. "How would you know? What do you do? Stalk me?"

Mitch's eyes widen at the slip up he made but Lilith just smirks and winks at him before leaving his apartment.
