Back in Jersey

Jen and I are back in Jersey because Dance with Me was finally opening a studio in South Jersey after a bigger demand of ballroom has been wanted in the Camden County area. My father, Maks, Tony, and I have talked about the spot we want it and have decided to open up in Haddonfield, New Jersey because its defiantly an up and coming town which is a perfect fit for the studio.

"Jen its time to wake up, we have to be downstairs in two hours and you need to shower."

"So do you Valentin. So you go take one and then wake me up when you get out."

"Jen I already did that, I let you sleep while I took a shower. Go take one and I'll pack the rest of everything."

On this trip we weren't just opening a studio, since we were in Jersey we were making a trip out of it. After we did the opening of the studio Jen and I were going up to North Jersey to visit Laurie and spend the rest of the day with her and then tomorrow we were going to go to New York and spend it with my family, since the season was starting next month and Jen's 6 months pregnant. We know this was going to be the last time we come out here until the baby is born so we made sure to do as much as possible.

"You ready to go Jen."

"Yes. Are you?"

"Always when I'm with you. How is she today." I asked Jen as I rubbed her stomach and bent down kissed her belly.

"Kicking away like always."

"My dancing Princess knows what she's made from."

After the Studio Opening

"We'll see you guys tomorrow okay." I said to my dad and Maks who were going up to New York now.

"Okay, bye Jen." Maks said

"Bye guys."

"Lets go I can't wait to see Laurie." Jen said very enthusiastically."

"Jen you just saw her two months ago before she came back home, and once she goes back to school in a few weeks you can see each other weekly again."

"I know Val but I miss her being around."

"I know, I do too."

Laurie just finished her freshman year at UCLA in the spring. Jen and Laurie always had this special friendship like no other, so watching it grow has been beautiful. When Laurie wasn't helping out the gymnastics team, or doing school, she most likely was hanging out with Jen around L.A. doing god knows what.

"We're here."

"Yay, I can't wait to see her."

We got out of the car and walked up to the front door and Laurie answered it.

"JENNA!"

"LAURIE!"

The two of them hugged each other for what felt like 5 minutes, until I stepped in to stop it.

"Am I just chopped liver to you kid."

"Always Val."

"Wow thanks, should I just go sit in the car while you take my wife from me."

"No, thats pretty harsh. You can sit in the living room while I take your wife from you."

"Thanks Laurie."

"No problem, I can help you any day. Come on were going out and I'm driving."

We went out to a little hometown café and had a very pleasing convo.

"So have you guys found a name you like yet."

"Kinda, were debating which one we think are going to fit her." Jenna said.

"Can I hear what they are."

"No nugget." I said quickly

"Fine."

"So how does it feel to be done with gymnastics now." Jenna asked

"It's weird. I never thought I would have retired from gymnastics at 19, I know I have been done with it basically since the Olympics, but for it to be official in the sport is kinda sad."

"Well maybe since you're done you can start coaching and coach this one to gold."

"Well see."

The rest of the night we kept each other company, and then came to goodbyes.

"I'll see you guys back in LA in three weeks right." Laurie said

"Yup. When you fly back tell us when you land." Jen insisted.

"Well Im more then positive you two will be in contact before that." I said

"You're right." Laurie said

"Always am."

"Well dont be snobby about it Valentin."

"I try not to be. Well see you soon kay nugget." I said

"Okay. Bye Jen see you soon."

"Bye laur love you."

"Love you guys too."
