Today is the first day of school for Alyssa and she couldn't be more excited. Its only preschool but val and i have talked her into being super excited, but thats expected being who she is. Alyssa is far from shy, she will go up to anyone and start talking to them. Today is also the first day of the season and since having Alyssa i havent gone back on the show, but vals onto another season so he had to leave at 6 o'clock this morning.
I walked into Alyssa's room to wake her up. I kissed her head. "Baby girl its time to get up." "I tired mommy." "I know you are but its the first day of school so you get to wear your new outfit and play with abby and new friends. Does that sound like fun." "Yeah"
Abby is alyssas best friends and also Lindsay's daughter. They were only born two weeks apart. With lindsay on the show and sam working we have a schedule with abby. On show days sam drops abby off out our house at 7:30 so he can get to work, and depending on who is lindsays partner the rest of the week lindsay usually drops off abby at school and then i pick her up, and have her until 4:30.
I heard the door bell ring and went to get it. Sam was carrying a sleeping abby and had her stuff in his hand. We swapped places and i took abby from him and he put her stuff down.
"Thanks again jen." "No problem, i'll send you guys pictures later." "Thanks." Sam went over to abby and she was waking up. "Have fun today abs." "No go daddy." Abby said to sam "I have to baby, i love you." Sam left before a big tantrum started. And as i locked the door abby started crying. "Whats wrong Ab?" "Daddy." "Daddy had to go to work so you get to play with me and alyssa and then go to school." "Alyssa go to school?" Abby questioned "Yeah you and alyssa are going to school together and get to play and make new friends" "Oh okay."
I walked into the living room where i had alyssa and put abby down and let them watch tv for half and hour, before we ate and got ready.
It was now 8 and the girls ate while watching tv so i took them upstairs and got them ready for school.
"Are you both excited for school today." "YES." They both screamed As i was getting them dressed i was telling them what was happening today. "Ok so after i drop you two off at school, you both remember that im leaving right." "Yeah." "And then at 12:30 im going to come back and pick you up." "And we go lunch." Alyssa but in saying "Yes because its a special day we are going out to lunch and then we are coming home and taking a bath. Do you know why." They both looked at each other confused. "We are going to see uncle val and aunt lindsay on the show tonight." "And we get to wear our pretty dresses." Abby said. "Yes you do. Ok now that we are ready lets go take pictures." We went downstairs out front to take some "First one both of you sit together."

"Perfect." I took a few more of them together and then separate. "Okay girlies grab your backpacks and go to the car." It takes about half and hour to get to the school because of morning traffic but we finally made it. "We're here." And when i looked back at them there once excited face had a look of fear on it. "It's going to be okay girls." I told them. I got them out of the car and carried abby in on my hip while alyssa was holding my hand. I signed them both in and then took them to there class. There was only three other kids in the class. The teacher came up to us and asked what there names were and if they were siblings because they came together with just me. I explained the situation and told her about drop off and pick up. "Ok girls be good today." "Okay mommy, i play now." Alyssa asked "Yes you can go play." On the other hand abby was a little bit more shy and not really sure about this whole thing. She has been attached to me since we got here. I took her out into the hall. "Whats wrong abby?" "I scared and miss mommy." "Do you want to try calling her." "Yes" I grabbed my phone and faceted lindsay in hopes she would pick up her phone. "Hey jen" "Hey i have some one for you." "Mommy i miss you." "Oh abby your going to be okay, remember what we talked about." "Yeah" "And you have to be a big girl if you want to cone later." "Okay." "Have fun today, ill see you tonight ok." "Okay i love you." "I love you so much abs."
That went well and it calmed abby down and she was ready to start. Alyssa saw us come back and and came over. "Is abby better." "I all better." Abby said "Ok girls give me kisses and i'll see you later." "Bye mommy" "Bye auntie"
They ran off playing and i had to start getting ready for tonight so i had enough time with the girls. I got home and took and shower and picked out my dress for tonight before straightening my hair and before i knew it i has to head out to get the girls. I pulled into the school and signed into get them. And walked into the room. They both came running at me and i picked them up. "How was today." "Good" alyssa answered "Fun" abby said "Im glad, go get your bags so we can get lunch."
I decided on a restaurant were i could get a salad and the girls could split a quesadilla.
We got home and i got the girls in there baths and then had them watch tv while i finished doing my hair and makeup. I got them dressed and it was now 3:30 and we had to get going. I put the girls in there car seats and started to go to cbs studios. We go get checked in and and walk to the red room where val and lindsay said they both were. "DADDY!" Alyssa had found val and ran at him full force. "Gotcha. How was your day?" "Good it was lots if fun, me and abby played today." Alyssa responded "Oh you did, did you have fun abs." "Yes." "Good. I believe that linds went back to her trailer, so lets go."
We walk outside to the trailers and went to lindsays so abby could see her. "MOMMY." "Hi baby how was your day." "Good." "Im glad. I'll see you after the show okay." "Okay."
With that val and lindsay went back stage as we walked to our seats.
The show was absolutely amazing and i think that both val and linds could go very far in it. I took the girls back to vals trailer as we waited for both of them to finish there interviews. And they were just watching youtube on the ipad. Linds and val came back at the same time and we said good night to abby and linds.
"So what do you want to do for dinner." Val asked "I dont know, any ideas." "Take out." "Sure. Pasta?" "Sounds good to me." "Okay leta get changed first."
We changed out of our nice dresses and vals costume and i put on shorts and a sweat shirt while val put on a sweatshirt and basketball shorts. I changed alyssa into her pjs knowing she was going to fall asleep. We ordered our food so we could pick it up on the way home. Once we got home we ate and then cuddled on the couch with alyssa between us sleeping.
