A Love Just For Me

ALJFM - Chapter One

*One Month Earlier*

Jewel Broderickson's bright blue eyes stared at her A levels. Her straight, but curly at the ends, black hair with few purple highlights hugged her shoulders as she sighed with relief at her results. She sighed as she got another good result ~ 2a's and 1b. Jewel listened to the groans of disappointment and shrieks of amazement from her friends and their results.

They lay in Symington Field, watching children play on equipment the far side of the park or play with their dogs. They sat in silence for a while, unable to think of what to say, everyone knew what everyone else had got as they always got the same or similar results.

"Beauty queen of only eighteen she had some trouble with herself he was always there to help her she always belonged to someone else I drove for miles and miles and wound up at your door I've had you so many times but somehow I want more..." Joe sang at the top of his voice as he and Emily joined their friends.

"Shut up Joe!!" Emily scolded her boyfriend, playfully pushing his chest before collapsing down on the ground next to Jewel and Katie. Joe pretended to be fatally wounded falling backwards and landing on Rachael, who shoved him off of her glaring at his back.

Danny stared into his diet coke as he and Xavier sat in the cafe. His black floppy hair fell over his dark green eyes as he just stared unseeingly into the black liquid.

"Oh, come on Danno!! She is not worth it, and you know she is not. She is just a slut or sket or whatever you want to call her!" Xavier spoke up, breaking the deafening silence. Danny looked up to see his friend smiling knowingly at him.

"Yeah! You, Conner, Damien, Aidan and Aaron have all told me that! It is just why did she do it by text? I mean I wouldn't have minded if it was just face to face but why text?! And yes, yes I do know that she is a worthless cow," Danny replied nonchalantly, as Xavier shrugged his shoulders as the question.

"HEY GUYS!!!" A familiar voice shouted from the door of the cafe. Danny groaned inwardly realizing it was his just older annoying (Danny and his 2 brothers hated their step brother) step brother James walked through the door.

"Look at who got dumped and who got a girlfriend" James leaned over Xavier and Danny's table and whispered that just so they could hear it - knowing it would piss his step brother off.

Before either of them had a chance to move to go get there drinks Danny had James pinned up against the wall. All eyes were on them now. Danny didn't care, he wanted to teach James a lesson. Arm raised he was about to punch that smug smile of James' face, only in mid swing Xavier caught his arm and dragged him out of the cafe, as James and Kirsty sniggered in the background.

"HEY!! You shouldn't treat Danny like that!" Jewel called from the table she sat at with some of her friends. Slowly she sat back down as Kirsty (one of the biggest sluts in the town) walked over.

"Right lowlife.... First of all No one, and I mean no one talks to me like that, secondly Danny deserves to be treated like that as he will be the one you ruins your life.... Literally!" Kirsty leaned low over the table that her boobs nearly burst out from the low neck tank top that she was wearing.

Maria's face fell as she was in love with Danny. Did he really ruin that sluts life? Maria shook her head not wanting to believe a word that the slut had said, it wasn't true, she would't believe it, not when it was about her Danny.

"Come on Kirsty... These plebs are not worth our breathing time!" James shot the girls a filthy look as he wrapped his arm around her waist.

Danny, Xavier and Connor all sat on the park bench. Danny clenched and unclenched his fists as he was still extremely pissed off with James and his ex Kirsty (who he hated now, and he could see that she was just a slut, who was using him).

Before either of his friends could stop him, he got up from the bench and punched the nearest wall with his right hand.

"Danny, what the fuck did you do that for?" Connor yelled. Pain washed over Danny's face as he looked down at his bloody stained knuckles.

Were his fingers ment to bend that way?

"Kirsty pissed me off and so did that pathetic step brother James!" Danny replied in pain, still trying to move his stiff fingers, "I think my fingers may be broken, or my knuckles."

"SHIT!!!" What did you do?" Aaron grabbed a can of beer and sat down next to the teen on the sofa.

"What...?! Oh my fingers, that's... that's nothing, just punched a wall and sprained the middle finger!" Danny lied through his teeth. For he knew that he had broken two of his knuckles, and were going to take more like 6 weeks to heal rather than a few days, as he broke the knuckle in two places.
