"If you tell anyone you're dead." Maddy growled at the girl. She stood meekly in front of Maddy, who glared down with steel eyes. The other one next to Maddy was looking away.

"H-How-?!" She sputtered.

"Shut your trap. You don't need to know." She spat.

Lillith took two steps back, terrified. Maddy's eyes only softened a bit.

"Please, just until I can get away. Then you can tell everyone." She pleaded. Lilloth nodded, sympathetic. Maddy stared at the floor, almost at tears.

"I thought it would work. Eight years, that's all it was." She muttered. She looked to the ground. Tears threatened to spill out of her eyes. It was a failure, but at least she'd get to see her friends again. The girl put her hand on Maddy's shoulder.

"It was eight years?" Lillith asked. Maddy looked up.

"Yeah, it was. When we went up a grade, I had to change my legs out. Slowly, I became more of my orginal self. My real hair came in this year. So did my arms. But the rest was still not real. But when we became seniors, that's when I got to be my true self."

"... You're not even human?" Lillith said meekly. Maddy nodded slowly as the other girl piped up.

"Uh, sorry, but I need to introduce myself. My name is Mira. I'm Madalyn's friend." Mira said.

Lillith nodded, but still had her eyes on Madalyn. Madalyn sighed and picked up her backpack she used for school.

"Mira, we have to go." She's said. Mira nodded and waved goodbye to Lillith. As she walked out, Madalyn walked up to Lillith.

"Tell the others for me, ok? And, of you want to know more, look this up on YouTube." She said. She handed Lillith and piece of paper before taking off to the front door. As Lillith caused them, she saw a black SUV pull out of the driveway, and leave.
