Ross POV (8)

I woke up to the tiniest bit of sunlight. Laura was sleeping there quite peacefully. I really didn't want to wake her up, and bring bad news to her. Her snuggling the teddy bear I gave her makes her look so beautiful. Ever since we were babies, I had the biggest crush on her. When I found out we were leaving for a competition today, I didn't eat or sleep till this sleepover. I got my packed bags, and went outside. It was so quiet in the house, you could hear Vanessa crying.

Ross- bye Ness.

I didn't get a response.

Stormie- Ross, we're leaving right now.

Ross- just wait Mom. I want to say goodbye to Laur first. Please!?!

Stormie- okay. You are very attached to her.

I'm pretty sure I was blushing already.

Rydel- omigosh! My baby bro's blushing! He has a giant crush!

Ross- shush up(remember he's 8)

Riker- soon he'll have a girlfriend. The sister of mine.

Okay. I'll admit that I was blushing like crazy. I just hate it when my brothers and sister tease me about my crush on Laura. Only a matter of time till Laura finds out. I just know Rydel will tell her. Umm.... I've got a backup plan if she tells Laura.

Ross-Ratliff!

Rydel- what?

Ross- if you tell Laura I have a crush on her, I'll tell him that you have a crush on him.

Ellington- a crush on who Rydel?

Rydel- crushes of mine are secrets.

I was laughing so hard, I felt like I was gonna burst. But then Laura walked out here, with Vanessa too. I pulled her into a private convo.

Laura- Hey Ross *smiles*

Ross- *doesn't smile back*

Laura- What's wrong? You know you can tell me anything. I'm your BFF.

Ross- I'm leaving for a tour/competition to see which band can get the most fans in 10...

Laura- Please say months

Ross- Actually I ment 10years

Laura- don't leave. Please.

*honk*

That was my cue. Why did this have to happen? I wanted to stay and be friends forever. I decided to give her my gift.

Ross- I didn't want to leave without giving you something though

It was a locket with my name on it. Inside was a picture of us and a message that said I'll never forget.

Laura- can you put it on me

Ross- sure

After we promised to be BFF,FAA.

Laura- *hugs Ross tightly*

We said our goodbyes, and I got into the tourbus. Once I got onto my bunk, I started crying like crazy. I wasn't ready to say goodbye.

Riker POV (12)

Today was the day we left for tour. I was soooooooo excited! We pulled up by the Maranos house.

Riker- mom, why are we here?

Stormie- did you forget about Ross?

Oh man. I was so excited about the competition I totally forgot about Ross. And more important, I forgot about Vanessa and the gift I bought her. Ross came out super sad.

Stormie- Ross, we're leaving right now.

Ross- just wait Mom. I want to say goodbye to Laur first. Please!?!

And I want to say goodbye to Vanessa.

Stormie- okay. You are very attached to her.

He started blushing. He really likes Laura.

Rydel- omigosh! My baby bro's blushing! He has a giant crush!

Ross- shush up

Riker- soon he'll have a girlfriend. The sister of mine.

Now he started blushing like crazy. He and Dell got into a crazy argument till Laura and Vanessa walked out. Ness pulled me to the side as Ross did with Laura.

Riker- hey Nessa *kisses her*

Vanessa- *kisses back and pulls away* hi

Riker- you know I'm leaving today. Right?

Vanessa- yeah.

Riker- I just want to give you something *gives Nessa a half of a heart*

The heart was on a necklace. It had my name and his on it.

I decided to put it on her.

Vanessa- thanks it's beautiful.

Riker- and I have the other half.

Mine was on a keychain. I plan on putting this on my car keys when I'm older.

Vanessa- I can't believe you're leaving today.

Even though I was excited at first, I realized I didn't want to go. I was afraid I might lose Vanessa.

Riker- I don't want to leave

I kissed her one more time before...

*honk*

My cue to leave.we pulled away. Both of us promised to never forget each other.

I got onto the tourbus, and I saw Ross crying. I decided to join him on the bottom bunk instead. Everyone tried to cheer us up, but no one could. Only Laura and Ness could fill our hearts.
