As Ryan brought back the money for the new job, Esther took her plans more seriously. Over a week, she and Ryan took it in turns to set up surveillance on Timothy and watch his every move. His week worked out like a setup routine. It would almost be too easy this time. They exchanged notes after two weeks and once Esther had received all her money from her guy, they set up a plan. Timothy was too easy to track. He had work from nine to five, five days a week. He stayed late on a Friday night, finishing work before the weekend where he relaxed easily using a home gym and the jacuzzi in his back garden. Every Sunday he seemed to have some form of lunch, party or meeting with various guests in random destinations. The only thing unvouched left for was the whereabouts of Timothy's wife and son. The bank accounts remained untouched apart from the transactions made by Timothy himself. The last money that was taken out that seemed suspicious was thirty thousand taken out. It did not cause a single dent in the bank account. This was worrying but should not have caused Esther any concern.

"When will you do it?" Ryan asked following Esther into her weapons room.

"Friday. I'll do it when he's at work. His office will be easily viewed through a scope."

"Bulletproof glass?"

"Yes but not bomb proof. I've already got it sorted. A sticky bomb planted on the window Thursday night, I'll set up Friday night."

"Cleaning windows?"

"Once a week on a Sunday."

"Nice. Need any roadside assistance?"

"Nope, I'm perfectly good here."

Ryan continued surveillance while Esther prepared. On Thursday, she went over her plans once more during the morning and afternoon. She then just had to wait...

After some dinner, she dressed in one of her usual outfits. This one was a black jumpsuit made of stretchy, strong, comfortable fabric similar to a cotton feel but warmer. The sleeves reached down to her wrists. She wore slim grip proof gloves that she and Ryan had worked on themselves. These gloves would grip easily onto any material or surface ranging from wood to glass. Next was woollen gripped socks that would ensure her socks stayed put in her heavy black gripping boots tied tightly to her feet. A utility belt slung just above her hips with two holsters, a laced ammo pouch and a few other handy boxes. A black leather wrist cuff which held a hidden blade, the idea taken from a video game. A garter belt strapped to her thigh with another holster. Her hair strapped up into a ponytail. Finally a mask. This mask was black lace which framed her eyes only, tied back with a black ribbon. Her lipstick was pale pink and she wore no contacts this time, she needed full visibility.

She next needed her guns and ammo. She had a black backpack which she packed a short amount of money; a couple hundred dollars, an indisposable cell phone, her eyepiece headset, a pair of binoculars, a length of steel cable, a length of rope, belay devices due to her absailing, carabiners and two sticky bombs.

She was on a deadline, she moved to the garage and bumped into Ryan who was waiting. Ryan knew she could drive but refused to allow to let her if he could help it. Ryan was waiting by one of her darkest cars, the sleek black one. Ryan loved Esther's cars. The car he was currently stroking the bonnet of was a Spyker C8. This was not even out on the market yet in so many places but Esther was a known admirer of cars and many dealers made her an exception, loving the idea of the money she willingly provided. Of course, none of the insurance companies nor the dealers ever knew her true identity. The Spyker had been modified to adapt to Esther's stealth mode. She had bulletproof body armour and windows with limousine black tints. The body armour was not heavy but enough to sustain with a few damages to get her out of a sticky spot. The car was a beautiful thing but Esther rarely used it. Only for stealth.

"You ready?" Ryan asked as he unlocked the car. Esther opened the passenger door and threw her backpack into the footwell. She and Ryan got into the car and Ryan twisted the key in the ignition. This was the silent car and it purred awake. He pulled out of the garage. Esther threw Ryan a confident smile.

 "Born ready, baby."
