Missing Me

When you see a little girl

Laughing with her dad

Do you ever think of me?

Does it ever make you sad?

When you hear your phone ring

Do you wish it was me?  

You didn’t answer before

Is it fun to be free?

Today is your day

I am long gone

Spend it with her

As if nothing is wrong

Are you ever missing me?

Am I ever on you mind?

You have pushed me far away

Somewhere you will never find
