Ring Ring Ring

The buzzing and the ringing of my alarm clock couldn't get any quieter. I groaned in protest, I wanted to sleep more.

The light rays of the sun entered the room through the gaps of my window curtains and it messed my sleeping mood as well. It was too bright.

I hate this time of the day.

It's early in the morning and I just remembered that I have a work trial to attend to. It's my first job as a make up artist today, and I can't help but be excited yet extremely nervous at the same time.

Although my major in college was business, and graduated with flying colors, I was not pleased. It was all according to my parents's plans and personally, I hate being controlled like this, it's suffocating and stressful, to live like robots, attempting to reach their expectations. More than half of the people I know and I'm close with, are experiencing the same problem.

Sohye's father used to force her into studying medicine, which she dreaded. Then Sohye ended up running away to Seoul and lived with her aunt instead. She pursued to reach her dreams as an actress, she majored in Professional Acting. Still, her dad didn't approve. He once called her, saying that once she fails, he'll be laughing when she comes back home.

Now, Sohye's a big screen actress. Look who's laughing now.

So, I was desperate in finding a job that doesn't involve sitting on uncomfortable chairs for hours, and staring at computer screens for a long time.

Apparently, my close friend in college introduced me to a top make up artist in Seoul and since I love make up and cosmetics, I took make up lessons from her.

Heck, I even got complimented on my first day. She said that I'm already okay and that I'll be her apprentice once I finished learning everything from her, starting from the basics, to the detailed tips.

Today's the day, my make up skills would be put to trial, but I know that I'll definitely ace it, since I've learnt it for more than a year.

And if I pleased the client and Eunhee unnie(my teacher), I'll earn much more money than I ever had after a year of never ending part time jobs.

I swatted my covers away only to find that I was still wearing that wretched strapless dress. I gasped, and happened to remember everything that happened the night before.

No way. Did I just met Kim Taehyung? And fainted?! My jaw dropped as the sudden urge to urinate attacked me.

I legitimately jumped from my bed and ran to the bathroom, to do my business, and also to take a cold shower to wake up my senses.

The jet, cold water prickled my skin as I stood there, thinking hard about last night. About who brought me home? It clearly wasn't Sohye, she couldn't possibly carry me since I'm way heavier than her, boy that girl is as thin as a stick. And I'm sort of chubby. And did I really meet Kim Taehyung? The scene that played in my head was vivid, but I still don't believe it.

I sighed as I stopped showering, I grabbed my towel and dried myself.

Wrapping myself with a towel, I headed towards my room, and wore my outfit for today. I'm trying to make myself look casual, but professional at the same time. But it looks like I don't have any ideas. I was too lazy brainstorming as well.

I picked a white t-shirt and wore black, skinny ripped jeans, and I topped the white t-shirt with a black and pink bomber jacket.
