This is my second story, although I am still a newbie to writing stories! I had the idea for this story in the middle of the night. I haven't been able to sleep since! Sorry... so this story is about a girl who's working as a councilor for a camp, but this camp is were the rich people drop their teenagers for the summer while they go vacationing by themselves. It's comedy/romance/teen.
My eye's were glued to the clock.
It was the last day of classes, my last day before summer, my last day of high school, the day before summer camp.
It was even comical the way the teacher was standing in the middle of the classroom. Trying to tell us about what college options would be available, and the ENTIRE 12D class was staring at the clock.
"And I highly encourage that you all go to college..oh what the hell... Just keep ignoring me like you have all year." she said prissily, shuffling back to her desk.
15 seconds left.
I wonder what Dylan is doing now? Probably staring at the clock also.
Dylan was my boyfriend, he was going for an internship at this exclusive lawyer firm this summer, which was sad because he wouldn't go to summer camp like we usually did. We have been dating since sophomore year, we were voted most adorable couple in junior year. I was excited to see him before I left early tomorrow morning.
5 seconds...
4...3...2..1..0.
BEEEEEP
I sprang out of my seat, racing for the door, but was stopped by the big door jam made by all the students trying to get out of here and failing. With a heave I pushed them out of the way, and sprinted down the hallways joining the throng of students rushing out of the school building.
As soon as I burst out of my of the main school building I was hit by a wall of pelting rain, cold, wet, freezing rain. Yep last day of school and its raining. That's pretty much the average weather in British Colombia Canada.
I popped open my umbrella and started the trek to the schools metal shop. I parked my baby in their when it was overcast. You could take auto as an option, and the teacher just so happened to be my cousin. He let me park my car in their as long as he could teach the juniors paint detailing. I loved parking my car with plain all racing striped in the morning and driving home with white flames and Celtic designs after school.
I was about halfway there when I looked around and stopped In my tracks. I rubbed my eyes, seeing if I was hallucinating,
there in a small alcove of the wall was Dylan with Lisa MY BEST FRIEND draped over him sucking face like there was no tomorrow. I was shocked I stood there frozen, as they made out and Dylan seemed to be pretty into it.
I stood there not being able to move, my heart ripping to pieces all on its own, I felt wetness on my face and realized I was crying. I was betrayed completely. My boyfriend cheating on me with my best friend. What seemed like hours but was probably seconds they broke off.
She looked up and gasped, he whipped around and saw me standing there mascara probably dripping down. As soon as I saw the look in his eye's. It was shame and regret. I felt myself freeze.
"Callie-" he started.
"Save it, Dylan. Your not worth my time. Were over. Hope you have a fun life with that slut" I said coldly glaring at Lisa at the end.
"Wait Cal- its not what it looks like" she said desperately.
"Its exactly as it looks like. I cant believe I actually thought you were my friend." I said turning away and walking.
