•Chapter 1

9 months later

Khaliah

I'm a few weeks away from my due date, which I am happy about. Damn I never knew this pregnancy would drain me like this.

"Bennn," I yelled.

"Huh? Your water broke? Let's go come on, come on," he said picking me up. He has literally been on edge since I've became 9 months. Any moment my water can break.

"Put me down. I was asking could you bring me my peanut butter and pickles," he scrunched his face up at me.

"Yo nasty ass girl. But you looking mighty thick, when can I blow your back out again?"

He asked rubbing my belly. I giggled, he's been so damn anxious about sex it is ridiculous.

"Never now go get my peanut butter, and pickles pleaseee--," I whined.

"Fine, fine, fine."

He walked out the room to go get what I asked for.

"Ben--," I yelled as I felt something wet come down my leg.

"I'm coming women," he yelled entering the room with the peanut butter, and pickles. "Damn girl you couldn't just wait?"

"Ben I think my water just broke."

Ben started to panic.

"Like seriously? I'm about to be a mother. I mean father," I giggled.

"Ben let's go, before I lose my mind." I screamed. This baby feels like she wants to drop right now and my water just broke.

"I love you baby, you got this."

"FUCKKK YOU BENJAMIN," I yelled. "GET THIS BABY OUT OF ME."

"Miss we are going to need you to push."

I pushed, and pushed, and pushed until we finally heard cries.

"I think I'm going to pass out," Ben said turning the other way. Typical Ben.

"Give me one more big push," I pushed like my life depended on it.

"Okay who cuts the cord?" The Doc asked.

"Me," Ben said coming to his senses.

"We're going to go get her cleaned up," the doctor said leaving the room.

"We did it baby," Ben said kissing my temple.

"We surely did." I smiled.

"Time to work on baby number two." Ben said.

"Hell no it isn't. Baby number 1 hasn't even grown yet. Baby number 2 my ass," I spoke.

"Khaliah I'll be back."

"Alright."

My mom walked into the room.

"My baby having a baby. Khaliah I'm to young to be a grandma," She said playfully.

"Ha, ha, ha."

Ben walked back into the room and so did the doctor with our baby . Ben looked pretty suspicious. Acting all weird and stuff.

My mom pulled out her phone. Putting it on me, I'm assuming she's taking a picture or recording.

"What is going on?" I questioned.

"Khaliah Hodges I have never felt this way about a woman. It was no accident that we became real close and had this baby. Even after all the arguments, fighting, and lies you're going to always be my 1. I've always told you I wanted this, and nothing or no one is going go change that. With all that being said," he got down on one knee.

"Khaliah would you marry me?"

I chocked on my tears. "Yes," I said shaking my head. He put the ring on my finger and gave me a kiss.

"Can you send me the video?" He questioned my mom.

She shook her head yes.
