Era:
When Hunter grabbed me by the hand in that moment where my life flashed before my eyes, I was prepared to die. In fact, I wanted to die just to escape the horrors going around me. I just remember running with Hunter, a sharp piece of something snagging on my leg and tearing it open. Hunter screaming at the man with the clipboard, who he called Auguste, to come with us and the man refusing. Slowly, like in a movie, the room seems to melt into sharp figures, not a blur. I look around, nearly collapsing as I register the burning feeling in my leg.
"Hunter-" I gasp.
In one swift movement he picks me up and slings me over his shoulder. I try to cling to my fading conciousness but, in the end, I give up and let the darkness swallow me.
