The end of the school day finally arrived and I made my way to the entrance of the school.
"Hey Ethan!" I hear Anthony's voice shout from across the hallway. I made my way over the werewolf.
"Hey Anthony." I smile at him and his eyes light up from the action, he's already smitten with me, that's adorable.
"Do you want to hang out tomorrow?" he asked.
"Sure! I'd like that, can I have your number?" I replied.
"Of course," he said as we traded phones. I put in my number saving it under my name.
"Text me place and time," I told him as I handed Anthony his phone back.
"I will." He smiled.
"See ya later!" I exclaim over my shoulder as I leave the school building and squinted against the annoying ball of fire called the sun as I made my way home. Once I arrived at my humble abode, I dumped my bag on the couch, nabbed a blood bag from the fridge, and took a seat on the kitchen counter. Sighing, I drained the plastic bag, satisfying my thirst and I peeked out the window to see the sun beginning to set. I tossed the now empty blood bag in the trash and headed to the bathroom to get a shower.

I entered my bedroom with a towel wrapped around my waist and went to check my phone. I picked it up and pressed the power button to see a text from Anthony.
What about the ice cream place on 4th street at 1? -5 min ago
Sounds good, I'll be there -now
I put the device down and got dressed in a pair of pajamas, turned off the lights, slipped into my soft covers, and fell asleep.

I cracked open my eyes and glanced at the clock on my nightstand. 12:35 in blue light glowed in the dark room. I'm supposed to meet Anthony at 1! I thought as I quickly stumbled out of bed to get dressed. I yanked on some black skinny jeans and a lilac muscle shirt. I grabbed a black hoodie as I nabbed my shoes and ring on the way to the kitchen. I quickly slipped the hoodie over my head and pulled on my shoes, sliding the ring on my finger. Cracking open the fridge I pulled out a blood bag before flopping on the couch. I sipped on the metallic tasting liquid while keeping an eye on the clock. I finished the meal just as the clock hit 12:50, rinsed my mouth with water to get rid of the blood scent Anthony would probably smell, before heading out the door. I lived about seven minutes from the ice cream parlor. When I stepped into the pale blue painted shop I saw Anthony leaning against a wall little ways away from me on his phone. As I made my way over to him he looked up at me and pushed off the wall.
"Hey Anthony," I greeted.
"Glad you could come," he replied with a lopsided grin as we walked towards the counter to order our ice cream.
"I would like a scoop of the mint chocolate chip, please," I told her as Anthony chose what he wanted.
"I'll have one scoop of chocolate," he said.
"That'll be five dollars." The cashier replied with a small smile.
"I can-" I was cut off by the werewolf next to me.
"I'll pay," Anthony interjected and handed the cashier a five dollar bill. We walked over to the pickup area to wait for our ice cream.
"You didn't have to pay for me you know," I told him.
"Well I did so you can deal with it." He grinned as our orders were set on the counter. Anthony grabbed our frozen treats before we took a seat. While we ate our ice cream we chatted about school and the horrors of homework. Once we finished we made our way outside the nearly empty shop.
"I had fun," I said with a smile.
"I did too, see you Monday?" Anthony asked.
"Sure," I answered, right before a voice began to speak.
"Well, well, well, look who it is. A Werewolf. In our little town of all places, and standing right next to one of the oldest beings alive," a man said with glowing red eyes, a vampire. A low growl echoed from Anthony as he glared at the supernatural being in front of us. I narrowed my eyes, this vampire thinks he can threaten me? Don't make me laugh. A smirk grew on my face as I prepared to fight. My canines lengthened into fangs and my purple eyes began to glow a bright scarlet. I could hear Anthony's surprised gasp as I showed my vampire traits.
"You think you can threaten me? Compared to me you are a child." Chuckling, I lunged with blinding speed at the younger vampire. A flurry of punches, kicks, and blocks was exchanged between us, my age making me stronger and more nimble. I need to end this, I thought as I snarled before snapping his neck.
"Is he dead?" I heard Anthony ask.
"No, he's a vampire, that won't kill him," I answered.
"And you are..." he trailed off.
"A vampire."
"He said you were one of the oldest beings alive. How old are you"
"...2790 years, almost 28 centuries."
