Next thing I knew I was standing in front of my nervous sister who still looked 15. I faltered for a second before I wrapped her in my arms. She nuzzled her head into the crook of my neck and I leaned my head against her's. Her light blond locks were still kept in a gorgeous braid and bright indigo eyes still shined with life. Silvia reluctantly left the embrace to stare up at me.

"C-can we talk somewhere more, private?" she asked.

"Come with me," I responded quietly.

"Lead the way."

I lead her to my apartment, which is getting a lot more visitors than usual. I unlocked and opened the door to the living room, pulling Silvia gently by the hand.

"Ask away," I said as I sat on the couch.

"How, how are you still alive? Last I remember you left suddenly one night and never returned," She asked.

"I was turned into a vampire like you. I was worried that I would hurt you and our family so I left," I answered.

"We thought you were dead," she mumbled.

"I'm sorry for that, I missed you guys dearly, but I wanted to protect you," I told her, "And what of our family, are they gone?"

"Yes, they passed away centuries ago," Silvia responded.

"Are you enrolled in school?" I inquired.

"Yes, Child Services found me and unless I move in with someone over 16 soon I'll have to go into the system." She sighed.

"According to the world I'm 17, I'll call in tomorrow," I replied, "Do you have everything you need? An enchanted ring to protect you from sunlight infused with a fake soul? A food supply?"

"I have a temporary sunlight and reflection potion," she said.

"We'll visit Yoru tomorrow as well then," I respond, "Come on, let's go to bed. By the way, do you want to share the bed, sleep on it by yourself, or couch?"

"I'll take the couch, thank you, Ethan."

I woke the next morning to Silvia sleeping on the couch, half-way off of it. I chuckled before pulling two blood bags out of the fridge. I set them down and went over to wake Silvia up.

"Silvia, Silvia, wake up we need to go to school," I said shaking her shoulders.

"Mmmm, nooooo, I don't wanna," she mumbled.

"Silvia you need to eat so you don't go into a blood rage," I told her sternly.

"Okaaaaay, I'll get up," she grumbled, slowly standing up. I handed her one of the plastic bags before sitting down and eating my own.

I never thought I would see my family again, goes to show you how good I am at telling my own future. Not once did I think I would be the mate of a werewolf.

Once I'm finished she grabbed my bag and threw it way along with her now empty one. I nabbed my book bag off the floor and swung it over my shoulder before turning towards the door.

"Come on Silvy, we need to get to school," I said.

"Okay, I'm coming. By the way, am I going to meet the owner of the scent that is so prominent on you?" she asked.

"W-well, u-um, yes, he'll be there," I stuttered as a smirk painted itself across her face.

"Good."

When we entered the school I could see Anthony waiting for me. I walked over to him with Silvia trailing close behind me. Once I was close to him I "tackled" him with a hug, cause how do you "tackle" a giant werewolf exactly? I bury my face in his neck, breathing in his scent. God, I missed him.

"Well, hello to you too." He chuckled, returning the embrace.

"Hi," I replied, muffled by his shirt.

"Who is she?" I heard Anthony ask, probably looking at Silvia, who was still standing awkwardly.

"Uhh, hi?" Silvia responded as I reluctantly exited the hug between Anthony and I.

"Anthony, this is my younger sister Silvia," I introduced two of the most important people in my life.

"Pleasure to meet you," Anthony said.

"It's nice to meet you as well," Silvia replied.

The bell rang and we headed off to class. More suffering awaits.

---ooO0Ooo---

I walked to lunch with Anthony at my side, I sat down at the table with Silvia while we waited for Anthony and his friends. Their trays clattered when they hit the table at Max, Jessica, and Anthony sat down. Anthony sat next to me, intertwining our fingers, before talking to his friends. Silvia was listening to the chatter around us, so I did the same.

"Look, Ethan is holding hands with one of the new kids," Leam said, nudging Deric.

"Hah! I knew he was weird, but I never thought he was gay," Ryan commented with a grin plastered on his face.

"Well, what do you suggest we do?" Deric asked his most loyal lackeys.

"Wait, look at her," Ryan said, pointing at Silvia.

"Damn," Leam replied. Deric stood up and sauntered over to my table. He leaned over next to Silvia, setting his hand on the wooden surface to support himself.

"Hey there, what's your name, sexy?" he asked, trying to be suave.

"Well, f*** face, my name is Silvia," she responded, smirking.

"Oh! Feisty! That's how I like 'em," Deric commented in reply, engraving his certain death in stone.

"Won't take a hint, exactly how I hate them," Silvia said, "Go away before I beat your a** into the ground."

Deric leaned down further, trying to kiss my sister. His loss. Before he could even get within a foot of her face, a slap echoed throughout the cafeteria, before a scream, that sounded like a little child, of pain followed. Silvia had kicked the idiot in the family jewels. It was hilarious to watch the large quarterback of the football team waddle back to his table in pain.

"Nice one," I told her, a grin painted on my face.

"I was giving him what he deserved, especially about the way he talked about you," she replied before we continued on with the rest of our day.
