Jack's P.O.V-
'Don't kill him.' Jake said still angry.
"I wouldn't think about it. KILLING HIM WOULD BE MERCIFUL. HE DOESN'T DESERVE MERCY!" I yelled angrily continuimg to punch the man. "Okay, I believe we punched him enough." Jake switched places with me.
Jake's P.O.V-
I went out and hugged Emma. "You knew didn't you?" I asked looking at Rose. "Your mother is trying to kill her."
Rose nodded. "She's the only human to last this long against our family, but she is also the only one to have help." Rose said as Emma cuddled up to me. She doesn't want to think about any of this.
"We'll talk about it later." I said trying to calm Emma the best I could. She calmed as we just sat there.
"I'll go do something about that man." Rose said as I transformed into a wolf. I cuddled closer to Emma, protecting her. She gripped my fur a little while also trying not to hurt me.
My head touched her stomach a little, and she winced in pain. I looked at her sadly. "I'm fine, the bruise just hurts a little." Emma kissed my head and began to pet me. We both soon fell asleep.
When I woke up a blanket was over Emma and Rose sat on a small single seater. "She will be fine, Jack, or Jake. Which is your real name?" Rose asked as I switched back to my human form.
"Jake." I said simply.
"You don't like me." She drew that conclusion fairly easily.
"No, I just want you and the rest of your family to leave Emma alone." The 'no' had a hint of sarcasm to it.
"I'm trying to protect my sister. Unlike them, I actually care about her." Rose became angry, her eyes flashing a red color.
"What are you anyways?" The same question echoed in my head through Jack.
"White fox demon. Mother is a red fox demon, and that man was a black fox demon." She calmly said.
"How come Emma is a human?" I asked looking at her.
"Mom had an affair with a human male one time. She never expected to get pregnant with Emma. I'm surprised she didn't try to kill her sooner." Rose sighed as Emma moved a bit.
I pulled her into my arms. The warmth will keep her asleep. My lips brushed her forehead as she smiled. "I'll keep her safe. No one is going to hurt her or try to take her from me. I won't let them." I said happily smiling.
