Third Person POV:

"Hey, Freddie!" George says excitedly, sitting down at the Gryffindor table next to his brother.  "Guess what I just overheard?"

"What is it, Georgie?" Fred asks, perking his head up from his book.

"Guess which one of your best friends has a gigantic crush on you!" George exclaims.

"Which one?!"

"Y/n!" George says as if it was blatantly obvious.

"What?  No way!  She's practically our sister!  We've known each other from the time we were kids!  Her parents are family friends!  I would never have guessed!" Fred gasps.

"Hey.  Why don't we play a trick on her?" George suggests with a mischievous smile.

"Why on y/n?  Y/n is our best friend.  It wouldn't be kind to her..."

"But it'll be fun!  There's no harm in it!  Come on, Fred!" George pleads.

"What do you have in mind, Georgie?" Fred asks.

"I was thinking... Maybe we can play a small prank on her.  She still can't tell us apart just like mum can't.  Since she likes you, we can pose as you and reveal it to her after a few weeks!" 

"Umm, I don't think she'll appreciate that...," Fred trails off.  

"Come on, he loves us.  She's used to our humour.  It'll be fun and we can all laugh about it in the future!" George says, egging his brother on.  After a few moments of thought, Fred finally nods.

"Okay.  Let's go it, Georgie.  Let's go find y/n."

His brother nods and they both get up and rush out of the hall to find y/n.  They rush back and forth, heading to the library, and back to the courtyard, but are not able to find her.  George turns a corner and quickly picks y/n out of a crowd of fellow seventh years.  George quickly hides himself behind the corner.

"Here she comes.  You should go first so she doesn't expect anything's weird," George says, pushing his brother into the hall so y/n can see him.

"Georgie!" Fred gasps as y/n waves to him.  Fred turns back to look at his brother, but George is already running down the hall, causing Fred to sigh and turn back to y/n, who's now standing almost in front of him.

"Hey!" she says.  "What's up... Fred?"

"Oh, yeah.  I'm Fred, y/n," he replies nervously.  "Ummm.  I was wondering if you'd like to go to Hogsmeade with me tomorrow.  Georgie's busy so I thought we could still go if you don't mind it being just the two of us."

"Of course I wouldn't!" y/n says happily.  "You guys are great.  It's a shame George can't come, but I can catch him later...  I can't wait for tomorrow!  I gotta go and study in my dorm and I also promised Professor Sprout I'd help her out.  I'll see you both at dinner!"

With that, y/n rushes further down the hall on her way.  Despite feeling a bit guilty, Fred smiles and thinks this'll be a fun little experiment.

"I can't believe the people in Honedukes made that entire statue out of candies!  It was so detailed and it must have taken a lot of practice to get it to move like that!" y/n says, pointing at a bright, multi-coloured dragon shaped sculpture of candies.
